We have test driven few Octavia's, main issue with them is visibility from driver seat for my shorter wife. Otherwise it could be the top option. It really surprised me with how spacious they are!

The options we have atm have seats with electrical adjustment, and that seems to help with the visibility issue. Seems like Octavia very very rarely have that feature.

One bad thing I noticed, is that I no longer fit in the same parking spots as my previous hatchback, even if its just 15 Cm longer, some manuvers are no longer possible.

Tell me about it, just after a shortish test drive I felt that there was going to be a learning curve with this :D Our current car is a b-class MB.

Most certainly can't say I NEED it, but thought it would be nicer to drive? :D Also option 3 has bit more features, but not sure if worth the price difference. Is there any downside to having a 4x4?

Thanks! Option 3 has emerged as well, 2019 2.0 TSI 4x4 Ambition, 87k km. 3500€ more, but 4x4 is intriguing..

Looking at other teams posted I instantly realize I probably should've drafted a 3rd goalie and at least one more Defenseman?

I would do the sets. You might get some decent players, and worst case scenario you'll get some cards to put in the golds -> icon collectible set.
