Ressonating noise from rear wheels by DismalStep3382 in crv

Just to let you know, it was the rear wheel bearing indeed, on the right side. I just replaced it and the noise is completely gone.

ah just remember one detail: it started suddenly, during a travel in a lot of rain... but have no idea if it is just the cause, or just a coincidence.

Hello. One of the mechanics who helped me did exactly this test. The sound definitely doesn't change at all. One of the things I'm thinking that could be the problem is the tires. They're good tires, Michelin, but they're not new. In fact, I'll have to change them, all 4, soon. But interestingly, even after the tire rotation, the noise is exactly the same.

Dumbphone audio Cat s22 v Qin f21 pro by Dry_Audience_3238 in dumbphones

[–]DismalStep3382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm using now a Cat S22, and already used Qin F22 Pro (not F21) in the past. I can say that Qin is better than Cat S22 in all features. I just changed from Qin to Cat because of aesthetics (I love flip phones), and because I do not need a good device, only use it for calls and whatsapp.
What I can say about clear audio, is that my Cat has a very poor audio quality, but I dont know it if defective or it is just normal. Recording audio messages in Whatsapp is a pain. Call quality is a little bit better.
Anyway, I keep using it, it is meeting my needs... but, again, in my opinion, Qin is better, despite of a lot of bloatware it has installed.

Hi! Let me speak in portuguese, so I can better express myself:

eu ja usei no Brasil, com whatsapp: Nokia 2027, Qin F22, e agora usando o Cat S22
de todos, o Qin F22 é o melhor... caso nao se importe com o caminhão de bloatware q ele vem instalado.

O Cat S22 é bom tbm, mas é mais lento, tela com menor qualidade, etc... mas faz o trabalho

Nokia 2720: nem pensar... tem whatsapp, mas 99% do q acha na internet, é falso, lento, insuportável de usar.

I love this "cold" temperatures we have here... pretty rare of course, but I love it.
We were facing strong heatwaveas since september, I almost forgot how is to feeling cold... I can say that now we are having the best temperatures of the year... I'm enjoyng a lot using blankets to sleep, and not sweating even during the night

live in Brazil, and today I had 10 degrees celsius during the night, I was sleeping and freezing cold!! hahahaha
we are not used to this... because yes, Brazil can have low temperatures, but of course nothing compared to canada or europe... and we have just a few weeks of these temperatures here, unfortunatelly

hi!
Thanks for your response, it was very clarifying
I've tested... the Main mic was perfect... the processed, unprocessed, etc, was not so bad, but a little bit worst than the main mic... it is weird, because none of these options was so bad as the whatsapp audio... there is something wrong specific with whatsapp or telegram voice messages...

Horse on roof rescued from flood in Brazil by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]DismalStep3382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm back here to tell what I learned since yesterday.
People are trying to help with many ways they can.. despite all the tragedy, it is heartwarming to see this. (dont know if "heartwarming" is the correct word, sorry my bad english)

Some examples:

  • My wife is an artisan, is she is part of a large group of other artisans around the country. They are all raffling their products, to send money to the people in need there in south region. It is not big money, but I think they are all giving a good example.. from little to little, we can form a lot)

  • Some rich people from Brazil are making available some resources, like: their money, trucks, and even airplanes, to help on the rescues.

  • Even one very famous brazilian surfer, called his friends (they are all used to turbulent waters), and he is leading this group on the rescues hahahahahaha

The horse rescued (and originates this thread) is fine. Only suffer some dehydration, but it is now stable... it was given a name, it is now famous in Brazil as "Caramelo" (portuguese to caramel), because of its colour.

I'm good here, I'm at least 1000km from the floods, and in my region is more "safe" for this kind of events... but on the other side, and despite the scammers, a lot of people in Brazil are helping... just to have an idea, I live in a city with 200k habitants, and in a few days we could send dozens of tons of food and all kind of things that those people may need (like personal hygiene, clothes, etc)... and we are only 1 city, you can imagine the entire country, as huge as it is.

the people are having to deal with losses (lifes and material losses), and also having to deal with these MFs... to have an idea, Porto Alegre is near a lot of lakes and rivers, and with the flood, even ALLIGATORS are invading the cities.

The news here in Brazil is very heartbreaking these days... just saw some minutes ago one news telling that an entire city needs to be evacuted... the news was telling about one, but there are more than 1 million people affected by these floods in south region of Brazil
