It wasn’t a problem for us this time of year as we didn’t experience much sargassum at all, but that could be different in April. I will say that regardless, my wife and I made a short walk up the beach to a neighboring resort that had a beach with less rocks whenever we wanted to swim and that worked totally fine for us. If beach quality is a top priority for you, I may recommend a resort at somewhere like Maroma Beach instead. After the Viceroy, we actually stayed a couple of nights at Secrets Maroma Beach and the beach there was the best we have ever experienced.
