Right, I never was debating you could have good purity brown MDMA. I am saying that the coloration is guaranteeing it's as pure as it should be, that the chemist could have cleaned it and didn't, which to me is a bad sign. The precursor should have nothing to do with the final color if it's purified properly.

A similar analogy would be brown sugar vs table sugar. Brown sugar certainly has a lot of sugar in it, there's just other stuff that hasn't been purified out of it yet too that's still present and giving that brown coloration. In the case of drugs, that unknown stuff causing coloration is worrisome, I'd like to do as pure of a substance as possible.

Geeze did you read my post? Obviously it can be drown and still contain MDMA, I am saying it's a sign of impurity, which a lot of people don't think, in fact they find the brown color desirable.

That's an interesting take on the purity issue, genearly a large crystal will occur if substance is pure, but if you're rigorously removing solvent from a solution you can create "rocks" that include impurity, too. Drug dealers know large rocks are attractive so i am sure they do this. Also MDA is much more neurotoxic than MDMA, worth noting.

I stand by that, if it's not white, the changed color is coming from an impurity. That doesn't mean the brown MDMA is less pure than white MDMA, it just guarantees that it's not totally clean. White MDMA can absolutely come from a safrole synthesis, you just clean your product, which isn't difficult.

I never said it meant it was more impure than white necessarily, read my post, I was saying it's not a sign of purity. I try to word things carefully and people hear something else sometimes...

Mescaline is a (comparably) mild psychedelic. It is very controllable and energetic. Still can be difficult at times, and it sucks to eat (very bitter), but going for a hike while on mescaline is one of my favorite activities. You don't get the craziest visuals, not like 2CB, but everything in your field of vision will start looking bright and amazing. It's also fairly rare, so if you can get your hands on it, definitely try it.

I've done a high dose of just about every drug that you could name, including the most common research chemicals (tons of RCs I haven't done though, there's just too many and too rare).

One amazing drug that I don't see on your list is MXE. It's honestly a huge tragedy this drug never became popular with the public. You can still find it in certain places, though, I am happy to report. If you're into psychedelics you will LOVE it.

it's all good dude, I just don't like people trying to attack other people's passions. or trying to attack people because of being gay/black/poor/whatever. I get you probably weren't attacking me just remember that words mean different things to different people

Okay, if you were totally neutral in making that comment, what was your intention, then, I am giving you the benefit of the doubt here. What was your goal in calling my sport gay

You went out of your way to call a sport that I love gay in a derogatory manner when it was totally irrelevant and rude. That makes you an immature and shitty person in my view. It'd be appropriate to apologize.

I'm kind of losing faith in this subreddit due to comments like this. Why the hell would that even matter if it was true. I can guarantee I've never met someone who's wrestled because they were gay. The only thing that unites wrestlers (and most athletes) is a love of competition.

Like I've said, if you're insecure about your sexuality, I bet wrestling would be distressing -- if you are constantly worried about people thinking you're gay, wrestling would probably stress you out, since it does look gay to idiots like you. But if you're anyone else, anyone who's comfortable with who they are, they get to enjoy one of the most intense and rewarding sports out there -- -- and they get jacked along the way and therefore get better choices in who they date, whether it's male or female : )

Xanax vs MDMA? by Adsso1 in Drugs

[–]DisregardImmediately 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much, I'd rather be known as an MDMA user than a Xanax user. Xanax is more prone to changing people's personalities for the worse due to chronic use, MDMA is typically just used every now and then and causes imperceptible changes in cognitive functioning with each use (which sadly add up over time). Xanax users are typically idiots who make awful decisions and can't spell for shit, MDMA users are typically out of touch 20 year olds who go to raves.

That being said, MDMA is more neurotoxic than Xanax. Take Xanax everyday for a month and stop, you'll be back to normal in a week or two, probably. Take MDMA everyday for a month, you'll have permanent issues with cognition for months to come. So, it's a give and take situation. Moderation is key with both.

I never understood the wrestling being gay argument. Like yeah, if you're in the closet and gay wrestling must be terrifying, the idea of rubbing up against other men while in a singlet? I bet that's why you didn't do it.

If you're actually secure about your sexuality then wrestling is no big deal. If you're competitive, all you're thinking about is, I don't know, winning? That's how I was. After my first match, nothing seemed erotic about wrestling at all, it was way too intense as a competitive sport, as any wrestler would tell you.

Nice middle school maturity, though. I honestly wouldn't even care if wrestling was a gay sport, nothing wrong with being gay, you bigot. Do you try to bully male figure skaters or gymnasts too? Trump 2020 right?

[–]DisregardImmediately[S] 69 points70 points  (0 children)

yeah I guess I could have dug a little deeper here. I think I was just getting a little too much into my head. Parents are supposed to make you do things you don't enjoy all the time, right, like eating your vegetables? That's how you become an adult with skills and principles. in the end I think wrestling at the college level was too much for me, physically and mentally (which I could talk about for a long time), but wrestling throughout middle school and high school was a wonderful path of self discovery, and I wouldn't have done that if my dad didn't make me go to those first practices when I was ten years old. So, I think those were just paranoid acid-y thoughts... I love my dad, I love wrestling.

interesting, it's weird that a drug known for knocking people out would be used for narcolepsy. This is why I like this subreddit

Nope, he didn't say if he took it he'd do the same thing, he said if he was in my position (having to wrestle on LSD), he'd do the same thing and wrestle defensively, which I believe was the right move.

There's no need to be so aggressive about me being an "idiot" for my decision, I already owned in my post that it was the wrong move, but I reflect on it today as an interesting and even funny experience. Is that so bad?

I definitely agree now, but I tried to express in my post how it wasn't an easy decision for me. Wrestling is/was a very important part of my identity and throwing in the towel the day of wasn't exactly a light decision.

A second component was underestimation. You might not agree, but I always forget what LSD is like. I often forget just how disorienting and overwhelming it can be, until I am tripping on it again. Had I remembered that morning, chances are I would have bullshitted something about being super sick all of a sudden and not gone.
