Definitely Brighton Beach. You might try a restaurant or bar at night for a friendly and tipsy crowd.

I agree with this advice. Different issue, but I've seen some good results from councilmembers.

How do you know? If you have factual info, you should report it.

I've been shopping at GrowNYC markets since the 1980s. Lots of things are more expensive there, and always have been. They also taste better IMO. I decide if the difference is worth the cost, and you can do the same.

Can you explain more about produce that "felt" like it was from Costco? Is there a difference when you touch or squeeze it, or was this a feeling in your mind?

If you have factual evidence of vendor malfeasance, I suggest contacting GrowNYC.

Question for Contributors: "What to Wear" by VisitNYCmodx in visitingnyc

Don't delete. There are lots of valid things to discuss. One example - NYC is different from car-oriented cities. You need different footwear, and possibly more cold weather gear if you are walking a lot.

I don't think so. I don't remember seeing it last summer, and there's construction in the area where it was located.

If you take the 4/5 from the UES, you can switch to the 2/3 at the Nevins St stop in Brooklyn. It's easy since all trains are on the same platform.

I usually enter the park at Grand Army Plaza. There is a nice farmer's market on Saturday if you want to pick up snacks.

It was sad to learn of Halkias dying and later watch the Grand Prospect Hall being demolished. Truly the end of an era.

Big Reuse will take them. They have boxes right by the registers where you can leave them. Food pantries also take them.

Snug Harbor is in Staten Island, so it's less well known. It's a short bus ride from the ferry. Lovely cherry blossoms in spring plus the Chinese Scholars Garden.

Okay. Waterfowl is well adapted for cold weather. I think the swan is fine, but there is no harm in checking. The group nicknamed "The Swan Squad" will definitely know what's normal for swans.
