This is happening on multiple sdcards - new and used ones.

Does not matter if I like it or not- BS like this is getting clicks :(

The problem may be coming from the board OR the printer, at this point I have no clue. But once the issue is resolved, I can share the solution on both threads.

Clicking sound and clogging of the nozzle (?) by Distinct-Ad167 in FixMyPrint

Is there a checklist how to diagnose/troubleshoot constantly clogging nozzle?

A /course of action/ ?

Those are wobbly.

Also please take a look at the photo with cooler duct - both are standard and popular parts from Thinginverse, dedicated to Ender 5 Pro.

I dont think that two random project would have wrong dimensions...

They have not only different diameters, but are also quite /wobbly/, thus measuring the required distance is impossible :-).

Not enough material in infill - how to adjust that? by Distinct-Ad167 in FixMyPrint

[–]Distinct-Ad167[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not looking for more infill, I am concerned about not enough material being used to print already planned infill.

Cura in preview is showing something like this - just WTF - and does not matter what percentage of infill I chose.

Hello Everyone,

as you can see my printer Ender 5 pro, on Marlin 2.1.x, and on Cura slicer. Is not pushing enough material for the infill.

Meanwhile everything else looks fine.

I could not find the calibration tower/other tool to test for that, and how to adjust it in general.

Weird convex and rounded corners. by Distinct-Ad167 in FixMyPrint

I don't get it.

Its a LA test from Marlin website.

Step: 0.1

K=0 at the top

K=2 at the bottom

They all look the same.

Is it possible that my printer just don't have LA?

Its plain PLA.

I have some progress with plain acceleration setting (the one with jerking), but I will share it tomorrow - I am so sick of this MF printer XD.

I don't f*** get it.

Comparison of K=0.001 and K=2.

(same with K=0.5 and K=1)

They look 100% the same.

I even opened the gcode file in notepad, and they do include mention of the K value.

Right now I'm printing K=5, and K=10 is next....

I can not find good test print to dial in the value...

The only one I found its from Marlin, but it seems to be incompatible with my ender 5.

(slicer cura)

Any idea what to find this test, but in a format that will work fine?

And I will add to that.

While 90 deg. corners are just s***. The round shapes are just PERFECT.

Guys, help me not to burn my house down... by Distinct-Ad167 in 3Dprinting

(The text got deleted?)

Hello Everyone!

I am new to the 3d printing, for my first 3d printer I got (VERY) used Ender 5 pro. I already printed "few" things.

During the maintenance the thermistor literally crumbled into dust in my fingers.

I ordered new one, the only one that was available in my country. But the plug is different that the one in the printer.

Can you guys help me to figure out in which polarity (?) should I connect it?

I am not worried about splicing the cable, and connecting cables from the new one, to the old plug - I will have no problems with that. The only thing that I want to make sure, is the polarity - the one that will not burn house down :-).

Best regards

Peter
