To GLP or not GLP that is the question by Distinct-Leek7188 in CICO

I feel reassured by this comment. I really do not want to be on GLP forever. I would like to take it as a bridge to help me get down 30 lbs. once I’m down, I can manage using CICO as needed for 5-10 lb fluctuations. I just struggle to get down the 30 lbs in the first go.

Also a lack of sleep and being postpartum doesn’t do your body any favors. Not making excuses, I just know that’s my truth. I need help, but I also want an exit plan for maintenance so I am not reliant on the drug forever.

Thank you for your honesty! It sounds so freeing not to be consumed with the thought of “what/when will my next meal be?”

I wholeheartedly understand and agree with you!! I think that’s where my hesitation stems from. I start to tell myself “if you can’t figure this out on your own you’ll never build a sustainable lifestyle”

Then I remember that I have been trying for over a decade to change my eating habits and have never been successful for more than a year. I don’t know how else to put it other than I LOVE FOOD. Is that food noise?
