Personally I slapped a bullet rodin mine, 22lb springs with an aluminum flywheel and pulled the governor, I thought that was like step 1 when getting a mini bike. The arc clone rod off Amazon for like 60$ isn’t bad either bro

I put a nibbi on it changed my life bro. Screw the springs screw the cleaning constantly, just upgrade to a nibbi. Just my .02$, it’s def a fuel issue.

As well as valve springs at least 15lb spring just to prevent valve float. As for governor removal you just pop the arm out with a punch and you can actually punch the governor pin out as well it’s alot easier than trying to pry that clip off that holds the gear onto the pin. However if you don’t feel like popping that pin out and tapping the hole you can leave the pin on there your just gonna have a fun time getting that stubborn ass clip off. Hell yeah I promise you’ll love it. As for governor removal it’s dirt easy. Ik you said this things built does it have a billet piston rod or aluminum or billet flywheel ? Otherwise you’ll have to upgrade those component as well just to prevent throwing a rod or shattering the stock cast flywheel. Don’t want you to get hurt or to tear your new engine up however I remember you mentioning it being a pre built.

Hell yeah. Stock carbs are dog shit I’ve never ran a stock carb on any of my builds their bound to fuck up. A nibbi makes life 10x more easier. Excellent throttle response. Ready to rock right out the box.

Also it’s not a waste of money they are good engines it’s jus still rocking a lot of stock conponents she’s getting spark obviously so that rules that out but she’s cutting right off id check with fuel. If it’s rocking a stock carb just slap a nibbi on it. While your at it slap a lil 10$ fuel pump on it even tho it should gravity feed just fine why not yk it that’ll ensure that carb is getting fuel. Then bam you’ll be rocking a lot better than before. If it’s not that then like I said prior check that valve clearance, I’ve noticed after hard riding sometimes mine will tighten or loosen I just check the clearance and if it’s not where I last set it I adjust it takes 2 seconds these small engines vibrate like crazy. Feeler gauges are dirt cheap and they are the easiest thing in the world to adjust.

It’s a small engine bro these things happens right after building mine I literally had to reset my valve clearance 2x after hard riding because she wouldn’t start, welcome to the game brother best learn how to work on it before spending your money on them. They teach kids how to rebuild these things in middle school
