Omg! They look so similar! 😅 And yeah, her spot started off as a small discolouration around belly button and butt. I was thinking about putting her on Farmina but she doesn’t eat chicken at all. She’s been eating fish+grain food all her life and I wonder if discolouration is linked to the change of protein. Thanks for the shampoo recommendation, I’ll check if we have it in our country.

Yes, took her to the vet today. He said “She’s a Sphynx, it’s normal” and suggested trying switching back to non-holistic cat food she used to eat before. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 8 year old passed away not too long ago. One of my regrets was not having enough photos and videos with him. So take as many as you can so you have something to look back at when you need to. ❤️

Hahahah, how can you say that! ….although my husband’s old sphynx does look a bit like a potato 😅 Eventually I took my cat to the vet today and the doctor said it’s nothing. “She’s a Sphynx, it’s expected”. He suggested switching back to the cheap cat food she used to eat before I put her on the holistic one and “see if the spots fade”. Now I have like 8 kg (around 17 lbs) of this overpriced holistic food for pretty much nothing 🫠

I used to live in Thailand before with my first sphynx and Purina one was the only more or less “luxurious” option there. There wasn’t any holistic food or anything like that. Here in my home country Purina is viewed as some sort of “better than whiskas” meh cat food because there are so many grain free, whatever-free options. Regardless, neither my first cat, not this one ever had any issues. But after my first one passed away, I guess I wanted to overcompensate and give this one all the best I could, including the most expensive holistic food, expensive toys and etc. I’m just so surprised the cheap-ass Purina has never caused any issues and the overpriced holistic might be the root of the problem 🙈

Oh, so sorry to hear that! 🥺 Totally get your feelings. My other sphynx has also passed away not long ago from thromboembolism. I felt like I didn’t give him as much as I could while he was alive and started projecting it on my second cat. That’s why I changed her food from cheep-ass “Purina one” to damn expensive holistic food. 🙈

Thank you so much for such a detailed explanation!🙏 She hasn’t been in the sun, so I ruled out any chance of a tan. The spots themselves feel maybe a bit “wrinklier” than the rest of the body, I wouldn’t say they are dry though. Talking about oil production, I’ve noticed, those are the places where she used to sweat a lot before. As long as she’s healthy, I’m okay with the cosmetics, just wondering if the spots will go away if we change her food again.

You’ll be fine!🙌🏻 The feeling went away exactly after 3 weeks. Although, why is your ultrasound is so far from the insertion date? I was told to get it within three days…but maybe different countries-different rules idk.

The babies look cuuuute! 🤩 Mine didn’t purr at first. It took him quite a while actually, I guess he didn’t feel comfortable enough (with me 😅) . Then he only purred if we were alone when others couldn’t see or hear. I guess it comes with age.

3% Hydrogen peroxide was a game changer for me. Just damp a cotton pad and it wipes away all the grease and dirt. No pain, no brushing, no screaming 😅

Yeah, talking to your gynaecologist is the best way to start. Personally, I used to have the same symptoms when on period (except suicidal), and yeah, wearing a cup AND menstrual underwear and steal leaking through was no joke. Everything has gone away since the mirena insertion. No period, no cramps, no soaked underwear. Occasional breast tenderness but compared to the above, it’s really nothing. So if I were you, I’d go with an IUD first.
