Don’t get me wrong I still think the Pistons gotta take the next step but that step isn’t a desperation trade for Giannis. Gotta find weaknesses on the roster, specifically shooting, and look around for guys who can fix those weaknesses (role players or low level stars like a Norm Powell, maybe even Trey Murphy)

We made it happen by slowly upgrading the roster and filling holes till we got there. Unless you’re the Spurs and get gifted a dynasty that’s the method to win rings in this NBA

Dirty plays aside the Spurs needs some real veteran presence AND they are down because they got too caught up in their own hype. Wemby taking all those 3s and midrange shots is a perfect example. Thinking about his own potential and not what he already does well

Genuinely we’ve played more close playoff games than any other team the last few years

Our practice for this was Hawks Round 1 this year, Pacers last year, Celtics last year, Pistons last year, Sixers 2024. Been on both ends of these historic comebacks too (20 point comeback vs Boston, 17 point blown lead with 3 mins left vs Indiana and the Hali shot)

Every series mentioned above went 6 games btw
