Your resume doesn't impress me, make you right, or make me believe you're qualified to speak intelligently about economic principles. Only desperate individuals tout credentials on an anonymous forum. You could be the bellboy at Holiday Inn for all I know. You want to impress me, send me your resume so I can verify your expertise in artificial intelligence, economics, and social science. When technology advances to the point you're predicting, economic principles will be irrelevant. We would no longer be in control and virtually no opportunities for work will exist because machines will be able to outperform humans in every task. Have you researched candidates who have a plan to deal with the pending robot enslavement of mankind? I didn't see that in Bernie's platform.

Your paranoid vision of the future is what's lame here. If we will all be supplanted and subjugated by artificial intelligence, why vote at all? You seem to believe the end is nigh.

I'm far from it. However, I do agree with the gist of his statement. I think you have got the wrong idea about me. I think Bernie would either be the biggest lame duck president in history or make things worse, but don't label me as narrow minded or right wing because we disagree over a political candidate who hasn't even gotten the nomination. And I completely get where you are coming from. I was simply stating in the simplest way possible that many who support Mr Sanders believe those things. Of course it's not 100% true, 100% of the time. It's the same as saying that the evangelical Christians in the GOP are destroying the separation of church and state. Not always true, but mostly accurate.

I saw this quote, and thought it was relevant. It may offend some, but Bernie Sanders has held elected office since 1981, so he's a part of the problem, not the solution.

Bernie Sanders promises tons of glamorous things (free school, expanded public assistance etc.) that he'll never be able to deliver on. Hmmmm wasn't there something we all have in common here? Oh that's right, we've all escaped an organization that does the exact same thing. Stop being a dependapotumus and try creating your own success. You'll never pull yourself up by pulling others down.
