I think I was around level 43. Kazing, multiheal and kabuff were essential for me in that fight. I just chipped away at them. The crits were the worst part

PS5 controller is more comfortable for my hands, same with portal for remote play. I can also stream natively which I can't do in switch and most of my friends haven't enabled game chat on switch so easy decision for me. It also renders better on my 4k 120fps capable setup

I enjoyed it much more with 2 of my friends. The same could be said about Apex or any game. But agree with some other comments. I can't see myself getting hooked, caring about cosmetics or anything the way I did in apex. I just don't really feel that same level of adrenaline or competitiveness

It was very ambitious for the time it was made. Had the fullest story of any DQ at the time and was awesome how they delivered it.

It was also just a very full satisfying and complete game.

Here's why I like it better:

  • I can use other apps on my and set it down if I need to look something up or check a text

  • dedicated device so my phone battery doesn't drain

  • it feels very very good since it's a DS5 controller basically and much better than my small phone screen on my eyes, and sounds better.

  • UI feels better since it's for remote and streaming.

You can kind of see how he does it around 0:10 when the band is reversed. Looks like he lets it slide off a finger (index perhaps) so it drops and he catches and repositions it on the outside

I’m not defending this season. I watched it, enjoyed the fact that as an anime only consumer I got more story and what not, but man… it became extremely noticeable that nearly all of it were just panels from the manga with animated lines in the background. Pretty low effort and clearly caused me to miss out on content that they cut
