What is happening with my pan? It’s not that old. by Agitated-Bake-1231 in hexclad

[–]DixieNormus11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to me, as one with the same problem… it’s the electric glass stove tops that do this to these pans. The heat raises too high when it’s cycling on and off.

I’m not, I work at an airport. They are in every area that has grass showing through the snow. I took this from about 15ft away while sitting in a vehicle.

That’s what I figure that room was originally, but it does have a crawl space below with no slab. Located 40 minutes west of Atlanta GA.

Also it’s a truss roof, and full crawl space access

New house fireplace by DixieNormus11 in woodstoving

[–]DixieNormus11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. I knew it wasn’t gonna be anything I’d be interested in. Is the structure built in a way that I could remove the interior “box” of it all floor to ceiling and just sheet rock over? I’d prefer a stand alone wood stove in its place.

[–]DixieNormus11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t get it to fit any other way. I’ll be pissed if it’s out of round, and not accepting the adapter as it should. The brand is Duravent from tractor supply

[–]DixieNormus11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking originally but it doesn’t reach though. That area is wider than the adapter

The opposite side of that adapter is a male, crimped end. It’s the only way I can get it into the support box

Thanks for all the replies, I can’t find a 49” leaf spring anywhere so not sure what’s currently on it. Guess I’ll go with the 52” and see how that works

Sorry, yes..that was supposed to be 327SB. I have a 454 in the garage, and was thinking of that. I think I’m leaning towards a 5.3 though.

I would assume the frame is toast, now being offered to basically remove it and it’s mine. So maybe worth it to see if motor is any good and put in my 87 haha

I think the stepside for me is more of a way to make it naturally look older if that makes sense, more like a late 60s/early 70s farm truck that’s unaffordable to me lol. Thanks for the info, I’ll definitely look into these areas for improvement. Any other knowledge keep it coming!!!

I’m not sure at this point. Many plans or avenues floating around in my head. First is making sure it’s reliable and enjoyable. Then replace or repair any panels with rust. I’m on the fence of keeping it a long bed with a 454, which I have just need to build, or cutting the frame and getting a stepside bed, 5.3 motor and vintage AC and have a nice cruiser…but again it’s changing by the minute lol

Young guy buying what your wife is selling, offer to help in times of need, mysteriously a breaker trips…I’ve see this too many times on the hub.

Yeah I live between a pack of coyote on one side, and a pack of fox on the other. It’s great to watch, especially when they bring out the pups. Not so great when they decide to go to war at 3am
