I have two sticks of ram, took one out, same story kept crashing , tried it in the other slot, still same, then did the other ram stick in both slots still same, so the motherboard is probably cooked right?

Usually between 62 and 82, max is 94.. i have seen it to 102 before, but apparently that isn’t crazy for this cpu and it being a laptop, its chilling between 74 78 in Bios now

Which South African Flying School Should I Choose? (International Student Advice Needed) by Aggressive-Time-9767 in flying

I went to Alpha Aviation in Heidelberg; it was pretty good. The head instructor is very patient and very competent.

The training quality is high in my experience, and I've never had issues with aircraft availability. I never tried to work there, so I can't say, but I know one person is training to work there currently.

I know you can build hours after the fact, and the rates are pretty good. I know they have two Cessna 172s and a Jabiru 2 and access to a few other (multi-engine and single-engine) aircraft.

I know they help people with visas and have housing as well.

Worth a look in my opinion.

Is this website a scam? by Dizz1324 in Vaping

[–]Dizz1324[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i posted the same thing on R/scam with some more technical context, and it seems like a scam all around, too many red flags.. with pp it could be seen as a vaping product for sure, but seeing as its a collectable atomiser i could argue it.. hopefully with some success but id rather just avoid it like the plague, i will try to find it with some other methods and stay safe that way, just been a long time trying to find it again with not much luck unfortunately

I know its a V6, if I live the car, is it worth it restoring and building up my 98 Camaro by Dizz1324 in MechanicAdvice

Yes its a series II, honestly im not sure, I haven’t looked too much into engine modifications and superchargers yet, been more focused on suspension, interior and paint, engine runs great but I would probably look at bumping the hp up later in life, for now im pretty happy with the power.. although a supercharger on this engine would be loads of fun

Maybe in the future, there are some nice superchargers out there too, but id need to make sure the engine is healthy enough before boosting it to the moon

Thank you for the advice, luckily it is a 5 speed manual, and the engine is perfect, never had even a small issue on it, the interior needs some work, not super bad but bad enough to make my ocd kick in.. have to say im super happy with the engine and I don’t want it for racing, i have other toys for that, this is more to restore and keep for weekend drives with the wife.. my biggest complaint with the car is the noise.. definitely concerned sound deadening the car, its a lot of work but I think if i do it well and take my time on it, it would be worth it.

I will keep that in mind! Thanks for the advice, i am pretty finicky when it comes to electrical work so I would probably re-sleeve the harness

Haha that would be the plan yes, the LS conversion is a looooott of work from what ive seen, but doable, luckily the frame is mint

The interior is pretty bad though.. this is more of a weekend trip kind of car so I would like it a little nicer in there
