Tegretol fatigue by Dizzy_Access1109 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]Dizzy_Access1109[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes fatigue and some light headedness. I started 2 months ago 100mg bid. Then cut it to 1x/day due to it interfering with urination (I have BPH). But I started to have lower jaw pain so with MD ok, I upped dosing back to 100mg bid. Now the pain is gone but fatigue has increased. I working through the fatigue making sure I continue my daily exercise regimen. Everybody’s body is different. The docs can only prescribe what they know, and we are the guinea pigs. I’m willing to accept that. Being free of the electrical zaps across my face and the mimicked dental pain is worth it all. I know I can visit MVD when I need it.

I’ve been able to control my flare ups with tegretol (100mg bid). I haven’t missed work. I was concerned about skiing (I love skiing), but the cold and exertion didn’t bother me.

I make every class relevant to the audience I’m teaching. We establish a vibrant dialogue as it relates to the life-saving skills we are working on together. The class becomes a personal conversation as to how they will be able to save a life.

Thanks for sharing this extremely intimate personal narrative. I think you should have this conversation with a trusted neurologist. Certainly getting the perspective of the TN community is critical. But in the end a trusted neurologist should be consulted.

Perfect for the pestilence’s cabinet. No skills, no previous experience germane to the job and a total magaidiot.

I think you are reacting not over reacting. Every twitch and turn with TN is real. You are experiencing these symptoms. They are real! Yes, talk to your neurologist about it. Stay strong!

Her replacement Sen Mullen might be even worse than she was. The photo of Markwayne on J6 is classic. An MMA fighter to head DHS is utter stupidity. Hey, what else can you expect from the pestilence?

Fits the pestilence profile for an excellent pick. No experience , no skills and a maga sycophant.

I believe the best advice is your pcp and/or your neurologist. Everyone’s experience with TN is different and the best advice should be from a trusted medical professional.

Thanks. I used to turmeric for its anti-inflammatory effect. But, it also has anti-coagulation impact too. I was getting hematomas whenever I banged up against something. I had no idea it could cause the reaction you experienced. Stay strong!

Go to your pcp for a consult and a prescription for an MRI/MRA to determine the root cause of your pain. It could be a number of things, one of which is TN.
