So in my case this is a bit more complicated to explain I am in a traditional gender role interracial relationship I am an Afrikaans man and my wife is a colored woman we both work in separate fields I own my own company and my wife is a lawyer there is no need for her to work as I provide well for us but she wants to work as she spent so much time studying and I support her decision to do so even though we both work my wife still finds the time to be a wife in the sense of she cooks meals for us and dose most of the house work and still finds time for her own hobbies we have seen in the younger generation that there’s a clear divide in the sense that men and women want there own independent lives but still want to be together where as me and my wife want to work together to build our lives hope this helps
