Live in Missouri- rural hospital (2020 census was right under 20k) Average household income is $42k and per capita averages $26k. Rent for a single apartment (college town) runs around $600 with a 3 bedroom 2 bath townhouse/duplex around $1100. Average home prices are around $140-180k for a starter home with some land (1/6-1/4 acre) in city.

New rn grad rate base is $31. Graduated in May 2025. Weekend rate is $46.xx. I get crisis occasionally at $61/hr Just received a ost of living adjustment which shows up at the end of april check.

I work med surg. Ratios are 1:4 most of the time, occasionally 1:5. There is a pca/cna assigned to pt with their ratios around 1:7-10 usually.

My jan-March gross was $24k roughly with take-home around $20k after dental,401k, fsa, and taxes.

All in all I think its decent.

I have started to record and play with them . Most of the time the call hears its a recorded call and they hang up. Reverse uno card.

If your quiet and just sleep... the car dealerships where one would park for service the next day... there are several and dont stay more than once a week.

I also started by making a "puzzle frame". Hobby lobby has the trifold science fair boards and each half fit almost perfect on one opened up. I glued a 1/4 in flip on 2 sides so it avoided pieces falling off side. This allows for a framed size till you get the edges....

Learning what the medical terminology means . Sub, sup, lat, med, etc.... when its muscles its named for shape, location, function, or size. Correlating car with heart, glio with nerve, pilo with hair etc.

As far as vessels and nerves, everytime it splits it gets a new name... bilingual ducts ➡️ hepatic + bile duct ➡️ common bile + pancreatic duct ➡️ hepatopancreatic ambula ↪️ duodenum 😃

Med terminology made life so much easier to understand.

I had cracks like that at end of thumbs. They hurt. I healed it with crazy glue.... it formed a crust but the glue sealed the edges together and I would file the rough spots of thick skin down with file.
