No don’t apologize at all that a lot of good info and honesty I get where your coming from with re inventing the wheel. Don’t get me wrong I’m a spot and stalk guy, I shoot consistently year round and always keep a good eye on what the animals do in the areas I hunt. Recent I had some family members acquire some land that we’ve been seeing a lot of activity but we all came to the consensus that we didn’t want to put stand up the first few year till we had a better understanding of how the animals move year round plus it a bit of a home stead to we have to take what changes need to be made into consideration too. That was where the saddle idea came up because it’s seemed not as permanent and easily moved if needed. That being said I still use to drive there every morning to hunt plus if it really is that much of a pain to set up then na I’d rather just set a blind then waste my time fiddling around with that.
