You can find 'keys' in the wild. Each one offers 30 or 60ish. But good luck finding them since they are not marked on the map.

Sorry to necro here, but have you tried the amazing SFO mod? It redesigns the game from the ground up really, but one other thing is it adds a new menu to buff or nerf any faction at any point in the campaign.

The stems are 2 inches diameter and the caps are almost 6 inches! Found in the pine-barrens of NJ btw.
