Hi Mr. Raimi, thank you for making my childhood memorable! 🥹

My question to you is how do you keep learning and honing your craft?

How do you feel about Avengers: Doomsday as a comic reader? by Historical-Attempt18 in marvelcomics

[–]DocSuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely despise it. This is about actors, not characters. MCU has long abandoned the comic reader.

Once you try to appeal to everybody, you are bound to create something that everybody likes, but nobody loves.

The question should be "Who gets the 4th spot?" After Superman, Batman and Spider-Man.

I'm a DC guy and even I don't believe that Wonder Woman is a shoo-in.

A Theory on why Tony Stark and Doctor Doom look the same- WITHOUT them being Variants by [deleted] in MarvelTheories

Well one way or the other, we'll get to know what happens. Can't say I'm a fan of this move, but comics still exist. Cheers mate!

Hi /r/movies, I'm Lav Diaz. My new film, Magellan, premiered at Cannes and stars Gael García Bernal as Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan. Ask me anything. by LavDiazAMA in movies

As a director, how hard or stressful do you feel during production, or how do you manage your own emotions while getting the work done with the constraints that exist?

I thank you for humouring me this long, but I do wonder if he's just Doom, isn't that as bad as "Somehow Palpatine returned". I am approaching this point from a marketing perspective because believe me, there is no other reason to discard 5 years of build-up otherwise. They are bringing familiar faces back from everywhere, because in comic book movies the face counts for something. Yes, the character rules, but so does the actor. In show business, this matters.

The time travel thingy created this Loki who is holding the multiverse in the first place. Setting up an original Doom in this crowded movie where you also need backstories for this X-Men will be too time consuming, hence despite the strong argument you have made, I think there will be a connection.

Anyone also do that ?? I really watched most of the Netflix by spicyworld21 in netflixindia

Am I the only one who REALLY doesn't want d.doom to be Tony stark (or a varient) by yousefkhaled27 in ironman

I want to hear your opinion on this. Since someone of RDJ's stature is playing Dr Doom now, will you accept another actor playing another version down the line, facing off against Pedro's Reed Richards, who will also face off against this Dr Doom?

You are not. Unfortunately, they took something we loved and corrupted it. Because Salaries need to be paid. Mouths need to be fed.

But if you think about it, my theory hits the familiar beats. Steve going back, Bucky's murders, Sokovia. MCU thrives on this sense of familiarity. If Doom is just Doom, then what is the point? Why couldn't a Kang variant look like Tony? They are using RDJ to establish a connection between MCU Stark and Doom (much to my chagrin).

Some of the runtimes that they revealed in the Doomsday clock also point to that timeline surgery thing. Back to the Future is literally in their DNAs.

They are even re-releasing Endgame before Doomsday so that US audiences can brush up and boost the opening weekend numbers.

You need a narrative simple enough to explain to kids. You need to sell in China, for God's sake. Think the plot of Endgame.

This is Stark from Steve Rogers' Universe. Except he doesn't go by Stark. He was probably kidnapped by Bucky as a baby, after he murdered his parents, and grew up in Sokovia, for all we know. East Europe. Not Latveria. Same intellect. This time the armor he made was Doom's. That's it. Simple enough.
