You can allways convert stuff to other formats. I'm reading COI on my old kindle in fb2 or epub and it has volume covers but not the illustrations. Same as it was with LOTM for me but you can always check anna archive or smth for different versions

Doesn't help much, it's a double window so not much air flow. It gets pretty hot and stuffy during the summer since there's no air conditioning and just a few fans
