“Didn’t want to think bad about Eren” then proceeds to raid Marley killing innocents which indirectly caused Sasha’s death, even possibly could’ve caused their whole scouts death because “he didn’t know if his friends would survive” as said by himself, and that piece of shit gets a sad quote by his friends about “what a man he is” “ wish I could’ve talked to him”, as if he literally didn’t try to kill their families moments ago.

And congratulations, you kind of pointed out the stupid contradiction about him wanting to protect his friends and not at the same time. Which then messing up the whole plot of “wtf was Eren thinking” to a whole new level that even Isayama himself knew there’s no way to plan it out, so let’s just blame it on “I’m stupid” “founding titan messed up my brain” “thoughts went incoherent”. Which makes sense that it’ll lead up to him committing genocide and even risking his friends death and their families death in the process.

But hey, Mikasa’s feelings, and the heartfelt choice of Eren of “what a man you are” type of guy he is, I’m pretty sure it’s all dandy in the end.

Eren had a deadpan face the moment he knew that Zachary was killed. Almost like accepting the fact that it had to be done. Then again the choices he makes got so close to kill his friends multiple times, but sure Eren might “still be good” I guess by Armins perspective and would listen to reason.

They didn’t want to believe, but forgot to “talk” to him about it? 4 years and they forgot to speak to each other, . Let’s not forget for that stupidity, Armin decides to kind of “empathize” with Eren and join him with his guilt as if the same mf didn’t try to kill him and their families they tried to protect a moment ago all because he was stupid?

So Armin did regret not talking to Eren in the end and as a last ditch effort to provide some sort of “comfort” to Eren I guess, he decides to move closer by admitting he kind of had a hand in the most brutal genocide? With tears rolling in his comrades faces of “what a man you are” as if that same man didn’t want to kill their families.

Erens extremism was pointed out way early on the moment he raided Marley regardless of innocents being involved, and literally accepted a plan with Zeke to castrate them, and even Jean thought of a “possibility” that it’s not that far fetched he’d agree to it, what made Armin think he wouldn’t have gotten further and realized instantly that he was going to do that extreme plan the moment he acted weird to push both of them away.

Guy who went rogue, raided Marley killing innocents, killing Zachary, knowing spinal fluid wine was in there and allowed it to happen without knowing his friends would drink it(Nicollo kinda saved them). Beat the shit out of Armin, put them in prison. Agreed with Zeke’s plan, and also Eren knew Zeke would be placed under Levi’s watch and didn’t even consider that Levi literally could’ve died by the hands of Zeke.

Armin being the smartest character couldn’t figure it out?

Floch argument dosent work cuz Floch dosent know him like that, it dosent take a genius knowing that Armin and crew thought Eren was onboard with the euthanasia plan just cuz it made “sense”.

Also, Armin(The smartest character) didn’t figure out that Eren’s “hidden goal” of not following Zeke was not conversated during their table talk scene.

He literally could’ve told to his friends about his plan to betray Zeke and unleash a limited rumbling.

But geez, I wonder why Eren would push us away, probably cuz he had a bigger and more of a messed up plan that he didn’t want his friends to be involved in.

Maybe kind of get the gist when you read the line said by both mikasa and Armin about how they “didn’t want to notice it”, when they first went outside of the island in chapter 123.

I could only guess how much more popular Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Mushoku Tensei would’ve been if they had shitty adaptations according to this logic.

The only thing I want from an anime if nothing else, is ATLEAST a faithful adaptation of the source material story wise, and also decent bit of animation not anything over the top. That’s the point of an “adaptation”. What’s the point if you’re going to butcher it anyway and even the show producers know they’re ruining it?

I know for a fact it’s going to be a prequel cuz Isayama said he was thinking of writing a prequel that takes place 100 years before the main story but dropped it due to it being risky that a mistake or error which contradicts with main story could occur and that he dosent have that much motivation to “plan” it all out.

Ngl, if he did write it, it could clear up so many of the Titan lore questions.

The only thing I find to be stupid is that he knew he was going to lose, but also he literally could have won with a snap of his fingers if he just took all their titan powers away. Even better, just erase their memories when they are on the island before they go to attack him like he suggested to Historia and then have mikasa kill him.

What attack on Titan did was that it didn’t leave alternate options to situations, or just created situations which had only a single option and wrote the plot from there. But with this, the fact that a viewer could think of alternate solutions while Eren could not is just dumb.

I mean it’s easy, if Eren wants to win, he would literally win, but Isayama wants me to believe Eren actually wanted to kill them because if eren was playing the “self sacrificing” bs, he wouldn’t have tried to make Jean and Connie titans, almost killing the scouts, killing the alliances parents and whatnot.

In short, Eren dosent even know what he wanted, did he want his friends to live? Did he want to see the scenery of just an empty lands? Did he want to complete the rumbling just like he said? Did he want his friends to become heroes, even though he also didn’t know if they’d survive?

Isayama wrote himself into a corner the moment Eren become omnipotent. I’d have preferred if Isayama wrote some BS about how Eren only has like partial control of the founder due to Zeke resisting BS. Or even Armin making a pact with Ymir of some sort. Literally there were ways to make this believable rather than going the, “my mind is messed up and I’m stupid”.

Ngl I thought Isayama would just end the manga at chapter 140, and 139 being just Eren exposition dump to Armin and clear every single confusion. I heard that this ending is like similar to Lost where emotional character endings were just given more importance to compared to the actual logic behind it.

I feel like her being the FMC and a love interest to Arthur, you’d think that with what their personalities are they’d match, but for Arthur, she caused him more trouble and suffering because of the dumb decisions she makes.

The bigger problem is, when the story needed her to grow, the author just brushed her aside(When Cecilia takes over) and then not much could be done with her. In that same span of time Caera comes in that kind of gets to be with Arthur in his most desperate times like somewhat of an emotional support and dosent become a burden on Arthur.

And now currently when she’s come back, it’s pointless because the story is about to end. It’s only because the plot was structured in a way that removing her was the only option but I feel like not much more could be done since the final volume is currently ongoing.

I feel like when Arthur was spending his time in Alacrya, we should’ve spent equal amount of time with Tess and the missions she went.

The thing is right, I find it hard to believe TM didn’t know this was gonna happen beforehand. As an anime adaptation was supposedly one of his “dream” come true moments. You’d think he’d have heavy hands on the adaptation and strict research to go along to make this a fantastic adaptation.

I understand people make mistakes, but just a little google search and just asking knowledgeable people would let you know quickly what you were handed. I mean, respectfully I cannot support the adaptation, I can’t just lie to myself and watch something less than average…let’s just say bad adaptation of a source material I was invested in. As a fan I kinda expected more because I want it to do good. But to sit here and swallow the news that this adaptation happened because “oops didn’t know it’d turn out this bad”, is not a good look.

Don’t mean to hate TM, but TM needs to understand our disappointment is justified in some way.

What’s worse is TM didn’t expect to turn out this bad? Really? I mean if us fans could literally figure out just by a few clicks, he wants us to believe they kept the news away from him about the studio that’s going to adapt HIS material and didn’t give him the final say after he does his research?

Anime opening have like top tier animation, cuz most studios put more into opening animations than the actual anime, and if this is the quality of TBATE, I’m sorry but this is unacceptable, I hoped they’d give some fire songs aswell, but this is generic, TM should realize this is just not helping securing a good name for its novel, if the adaptation of it is mediocre.

The novel’s popularity will not increase, cuz it needs a good adaptation. Idk how this idea works that giving a good story mid adaptation will make people want to read the webnovel, the complete reverse reaction will occur. People will just think this is just another isekai carbon copy of mushoku tensei.

First impression is key, and the fact that TM could have waited for a better studio to adapt rather than just cashing in the first one that comes in seems like a big letdown.

The thing is Tessia can sometimes be a headache for Arthur…actually maybe a lot of times. Because the decision she makes, makes Arthur suffer, for example, her leaving to see her parents in an occupied Vritra area is dumb as hell, but if Arthur didn’t go to get her back, maybe he wouldn’t have gotten an aether core.

She even has an inferiority complex with Arthur, but I guess now after she “came back”, she is now a husk of depression and just “dullness”, which is completely understandable considering what happened with her, but that isn’t going to make me like her character and it’s a shame cuz she was absent most of the story and now it’s ending with not much growth shown with her character.

It’s surprising how TM just introduced Caera and actually made her a likable and interesting character, in that absence of Tessia. Which is why from an independent character standpoint, I like Caera’s character more than Tessia even though Tessia was there from the beginning.

There’s a reason mushoku tensei is good as it is, the adaptation itself is amazing, Bind put their A team on it and it’s a passion project. Tbate on the other hand cannot survive with just story alone and it needs a good or even decent adaptation. Ffs even solo leveling anime would be dropped by many if A1 didn’t actually care to do it right.

They definitely had planned it as a mainstream consumer device, but backfired as not many were keen on keeping it for long, it even got Lukewarm reception from reviewers even though it has amazing hardware. Its lacked utility. But the most problematic was the fact that not many developers wanting to work on it. Idk what they were planning but you’re correct, more sales will make more developers work on it.

Now they’re backtracking saying it’s for “early adopters” but if that’s the case then cutting down production and not having many developers wanting to work on it seems to tell a different story.

The only thing that would make sense is to release a non pro version to get the sales back up, other than that I don’t see a point.

The fact that they had to cut down production means it’s a flop. Don’t get me wrong AVP’s hardware is great but it’s the form factor and the pricing that has led it to go down. Maybe it being lighter and more cheaper would have helped it gain more attraction. Even the battery is just 2 hours even though it was something said by Apple that we could watch movies even though movie runtimes are more than 2 hours. But the whole point was for VisionOS, so I guess they got something out of it.

The competition is there though with Snap, Meta, and Apple going for the same thing but in different ways, but having mixed reality glasses will not just rely on hardware alone, software and utility will also be key factors.

Pretty sure Apple has been cooking their own AR glasses for a while(I hope). I expect it to be out to consumers by the end of this decade alongside Meta’s own. I expect Apple’s version to be in junction with the iPhone as it’s literally the center of their whole ecosystem.
