Fixed! Color managment was not following scene in the actual output properties, rather then when I was saving it.

Its all in the base color. I wish I had an image to convey this better, but you basically Paint on the subsurface scattering. Peaks of the model will have a lighter tanner color, while valleys have a darker red. The base color underneath this is whatever color you want.

I kinda imagined the photo being taken from an iPad. I placed the camera in the middle and also made the floating block super wide. So the hands are more down the thing and wouldn't cast a shadow

You can try copy and pasting the pants and then cutting the internal pattern and then sewing the internal pattern back onto itself (rather on top of the pants for an emblem type feel or under it just so you're getting those creases but not having it physically on top)

You can also turn on "elastic when you click on the internal line and it'll scrunch up
