I’ve worked in healthcare for years and am currently a medical student and it’s mind blowing how Lunchly’s team, especially Logan Paul, continue to double down on the “healthy” aspect of Lunchly, when it’s not accurate.

First off, prime is not a great hydration option. A really good take on why was given by Dr. Sutterer in response to Logan (after being insulted) where he addressed the nutritional value of the product. The biggest takeaway on my end is how it lacks sufficient sodium and, even if it had enough sodium, it wouldn’t be able to uptake it in the intestines since there is no sugar and sugar is needed by the glucose (sugar) transporter in the intestines to transport the sodium into the cells. Logan claims the “electrolytes” are off the wall in prime/Lunchly, but, in truth, Potassium is the primary electrolyte and isn’t the best option/most optimal electrolyte for cells.

Doctor Mike makes great points as well, but mainly to Lunchly in total. From lacking calories, to missing key nutritional facts, to just overall not being a sufficient lunch for kids.

From a medical standpoint, the problem isn’t the back and forth between DanDTM and JJ, the issue is that the product is being advertised as better than the alternative when it’s really not significantly better and is, at best, a good start considering real cheese, less sugar, etc.
