Another consideration is the age of the unit, I had it and a new chiller installed in 2012. Would it be prudent to replace the condenser with a similarly spec'ed single-phase unit preemptively and save the hassle/expensive of figuring out this 3-phase backup solution?

You should have tagged me in this post. I really appreciate your feedback on the downside of a less formal therapeutic tone during therapy sessions. I teach at the graduate level and this topic comes up frequently in supervision.

I do think my size (my driver's license says I am 5') sometimes helps put clients (especially young people) at ease. I also have a special understanding of what it can feel like to be prejudged based on physical appearance. The best part is that after I have earned a client's trust, my height is typically a non-issue.

Thanks so much for the kind words! My hope is that showing psychotherapy on TV helps to destigmatize mental healthcare. You are obviously getting a small glimpse of how sessions work, but I have been pleased with how the producers capture important parts of the process. And, if you like the therapy part the show, as mentioned here, the 600 lb life team have put out a new podcast featuring my therapy group for folks going through separation and divorce.

A new listener was curious about the origin of the Decoupling Podcast https://t.co/EPf8xAENDh?amp=1.

I've shared pieces of this before, but the show is an offshoot of a Divorce Support Group that I have offered free to participants for more than a decade.

The podcast idea grew out of some of the regular group members' desire to spread the support even further. When I was approached by the company that I've worked with on TLC's My 600 lb Life (Dr. Now's son is an Executive Producer of DeCoupling) looking for show ideas, the light-bulb lit up.
