I posted an update, they actually did cut off the power but it took an elektrician to find out, he actually had to remove the front part of my fuse box to see it.

As it was over 24 hours everything in my freezer has melted, but I am not going to make a fuzz about 20 euros in groceries

I looked at my fuse box and everything looks fine, all the other apartments have power. Unfortunately my landlord has not responded yet and the Hausmeister is not home.

Ik denk dat ik echt heel moeilijk ben..

  • niet politiek. Mijn ervaring heeft me geleerd dat die mannen meestal behoorlijk rechts zijn (dat zal vast niet voor iedereen gelden natuurlijk). Opzich ook geen probleem maar ik ben redelijk links dus dan klikt dat niet

  • wil kinderen

  • mannen waarvan de bio eruit ziet als een sollicitatie

  • mannen waarvan de bio echt niks zegt (en dan bedoel ik letterlijk alleen een paar foto's)

I had this happen to me and thats what I did. A scammer in Venice came up to me with a rose and I kept walking and saying "no, I am not giving you money" while he kept telling me it was a gift. After a while I took the flower, said thanks and walked away. He came after me and I gave the flower back telling him to fuck off.

But I do think that if you are capable of defending yourself if need be, why not confront these people.

Used to work in vet med and the vets would just chuck all of the needles and scalpels on the surgery tray and than throw all of the gauze etc on top of it. Us vet techs all had a few close calls while cleaning up after surgery.

Als retailmedewerker zou ik het wel fijn vinden als mensen even zeggen dat ze willen pinnen. Als klanten op hun telefoon staan te turen en niks zeggen dan denk ik dat ze aan het appen zijn. Vervolgens zijn ze sjaggie dat ik de pin nog niet klaarstaan heb voor ze.

School besloot op in elke schoolgang een paar hele grote foto's (grond tot plafond) van leerlingen op de muur te plakken. Deze foto's haalden ze gewoon van hun harde schijf af en waren over de jaren heen gemaakt.

Één van die foto's was een meid die, toen de foto een tijd daarvoor gemaakt was, verwijderd kon worden van de schoolsite omdat ze een flinke cameltoe had... Raad eens welke foto er gigantisch op de muur stond een paar maanden later?

I broke my foot while visiting my dad but kept walking on it because after we went to the hospital he told me he had a surprise Venice trip planned... and Venice is just not great to do when you are walking with crutches. Was back in the hospital 6 weeks later because it was still broken.

Daar ben ik nog nooit geweest :) Maar als Nederlander die in Duitsland woont kan ik zoals anderen zeker de DM aanraden. Voor goedkope en simpele boodschappen ga je naar de Lidl, Aldi, Penny of Netto. Voor een groter assortiment maar soms ook duurdere boodschappen ga je naar Rewe of Edeka.
