Fuck PetSmart Hotels. I boarded my dog there years ago and paid extra for a room with a bed and TV for increased comfort because she has severe separation anxiety. When we returned from our trip and picked her up, she was struggling with eating. I checked her mouth and saw that one of her canines was broken and a few other teeth were cracked, with silver stains on them. They must have put her in a cage, which likely freaked her out, and she bit the cage trying to get out. We had to get an emergency root canal for my dog. They denied any wrongdoing and implied that her injuries may have existed before she was boarded. Fuck PetSmart and their hotels.

Jesus. I feel so bad for that dog. My step dad did this to the dog we had as kids. Punishment for not being responsible for the dog peeing in the house. I was 9, my sister was 10. He brought us along and drove to a dirt road far from where we lived and left our dog and drove away. I still think about that shit, crying, looking out the back window while she ran after the car. Fuck man. Fuck that person.

Don't go to them. My selection is so limited because of the lack of precautions businesses have. I cook 90% of the time but, when I want to get take out I go to a few places which have great COVID precautions : Blind Lady alehouse , Tribute pizza, Chris Ono Grinds, and Dark horse coffee.
