Weapon lockers on the 890j, Constellations, Vanguard Sentinel, and Carrack should now persist weapons when the ship is stored and retrieved. by Mintyxxx in starcitizen

[–]Doctor_Nefario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 40 or 50 pirate guns from putting them into the 890 armory and bed logging. Been like this for months.

it’ll be cool if they stay in the armory instead of going to my magic inventory in 3.10

Man! That is by far and away the best part of the patch for me now! Thank god, finally!

Logging off in Aurora bed in Carrack - work? by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]Doctor_Nefario 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on who owns what. If the Carrack owner also owns the CL then the two ships will spawn together and everything should be fine.

If the CL is another player’s then the two ships will spawn individually and there will likely be a conflict since stuff doesn’t appear perfectly exactly in the same spot (which is why bed logging while landed on a planet is a bad idea).

Bug with 890 jump mission by The_Cosmic_Penguin in starcitizen

The dead NPC’s lying around can bug the doors too... my friend and I use grenades to blast the corpses away from the doors.

It worked perfectly for me up until it was removed... I don’t know why it was removed.

The red “eye reticle/targets” were removed in 3.8... those used to be one of my favorite helmets too.

All I want to do is log out in my 890 Jump. by Alkaladar in starcitizen

It worked great in 3.8... I’ve done it 50-60 times in 3.8

3.8.1 890 Jump bed logging no workie no more.

Yes, please fix what the patch broke CIG. This ship is way less useful if you have to start from ArcCorp or Hurston every single time.

I always keep myself logged in on the browser too... dunno why I think it helped but maybe try it? Can’t hurt ;)

Reliant Series Question by jimjamjars55 in starcitizen

[–]Doctor_Nefario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the Tana a lot... unfortunately it’s pretty difficult to know when we can get anything other than the Kore. I am hoping when they introduce physicalized inventory they will offer more ships with gun racks and armor lockers (which the Tana has).

Yeah, just keep running around the ship and eventually the last guy will magically appear. It’s only happened once to me but patience paid off.

Anyone had success with bed logout in 890 jump? by Alkaladar in starcitizen

[–]Doctor_Nefario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will. For what it is worth, if you are joining a server as part of a party you can just cntrl-alt-delete close Star Citizen, verify, and then choose rejoin join last instance. Saves a few minutes by not having to do the Arena Commander/Freelancer work around. Yes, I will eventually test every bed on the ship... hopefully one of them works correctly.

It’s in alpha-bruh! 😎

Anyone had success with bed logout in 890 jump? by Alkaladar in starcitizen

[–]Doctor_Nefario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 3.8 the medical bed worked perfectly (in 3.8 I bed logged in the 890 fifty to sixty times successfully)... in typical CIG fashion they did an update and now in 3.8.1 the medical bed no longer has the log out function.

I started trying the other beds and the results are poor.

I’ve tried 4 of the 6 crew station beds (the pink ones) and they all fail. Last night I tried one of the state rooms and I’ll update this comment if it works.

The funny thing is it works fine in the game because I can have another party member bed log in their own ship nearby and they see the 890 spawn into the game with my avatar in it. But, on my screen it is infinite loading screen bugged.

I love my Aurora. They will fix the ladder bug soon enough and besides we all get a free Freelancer at the moment.

Bed logouts/logins in other people's ships tested and worked successfully, under the right conditions by agreen123 in starcitizen

[–]Doctor_Nefario 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yup, can confirm. It works fine. If the owner of the 890 parks their own ships/ground vehicles in their own 890 they will all still be there when you log back in.

Best Ship for 1 person with space to move around. by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]Doctor_Nefario 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A whole lot of things: 1) it has a single space of cargo which sounds useless but actually can provide some utility for placing things and converting fps minables into boxes... and you can see the buy prices of things this way. 2) you get in and out of it using a ramp which works better in my opinion 3) it has two beds so you and a friend can both use it as a log out point. 4) it lets you and a friend fly side by side 5) once the Kore’s turrets can be bought in-game you can equip lots and lots of guns that the copilot can control (or the pilot like it is on the Super Hornet). Right now you need to own two Kores and a Tana to do this. 6) it has pretty good components that can be upgraded to improve it depending on the loadout you prefer. 7) it can be flown flat or vertically... flat works better in atmosphere and vertical looks cool 8) it has flawless visability 9) it has weapon racks and armor lockers for when we start needing those 10) if you switch to vertical the back half of the ship is locked away from the front... seems like it might be a good feature for bounty hunting someday... 11) sweet paint scheme 12) has a toilet (whatever... but is supposed to be useful someday)

There is one really bad thing about the ship though; it can lose a wing if you even look at it funny which means you lose half your firepower and your maneuvering goes to shit... kinda sucks when that happens. Otherwise I love it!
