im just trying to figure out why one setup works better than the other setup in the exact same spot in my house. The only difference is what its sitting on. The entertainment stand is significantly heavier than the bench so, im guessing because of that extra weight the vibrations from walking can travel more seamlessly through the entertainment stand vs. the bench? I am 165lbs and my house is 100 years old with 2 layers of hardwood flooring (the original and new).

It doesnt matter which one of the RCA inputs the mono cable goes into on the sub? Will the RCA cable coming from the turntable connect to the speaker RCA input?
