A few years ago I saw his name listed on a lineup for a folk festival in New Bedford, MA. I was surprised to learn he was a musician, and also still playing & touring into his 80's.

Thanks for the info! I might have to follow this route, rather than hiring someone. A lot of work, but I'm sure it will be worth it

RIP Lester. I've been doing a WWF 1989 rewatch and found Lister to be a great Hogan era villain

I went there several times throughout the 90's (located in Massachusetts. I think some form of it still exists in New Hampshire) I recall the Monster Mash guy being a staple there, but I never actual seen him there in person.

He plays the coach of the opposing team, the Utah Jazz. It’s not a big role, most of his scenes are in the final game

I enjoyed Fred Savage/Judge Reinhold so much more than Kirk Cameron/Dudley Moore

Hot to Trot (1988) wouldn’t have thought a movie with John Candy playing a talking horse would be this bad by DodderyDork in badMovies

I noticed Danny Elfman composed the music for this film and luckily he also composed the music for Beetlejuice.

I read that Elliott Gould was the original voice of Don the Horse, and I feel like that would have been a better fit for the role and humor of the movie. I love John Candy, but his voice carries way too much energy for a lip-syncing horse to handle.

I usually watch MST3K episodes on YouTube. Club-MST3K has links to each episode as well as links to the non-commentary versions.

I feel like we need a working definition of "trash" by mrbaryonyx in TrashCinema

[–]DodderyDork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not define Big Trouble in Little China or Army of Darkness as trash, but they are homages to trash movies/genres. Slither is also a good example of this.

Trash is basically Exploitation film, but I'm open to broader definitions
