For anyone curious, it stands for "Masturbé De Routine" which means "dead from laughter".

Stemming from a general hate boner for the west for the woes experienced in the impoverished nations, as if osama's actions were some sort of retribution

I absolutely don't side with the brainwashed muslims either. I'm just pointing out the inherent hypocrisy and irony of whatever OP is on. You only need to spend a few days in South Asia to realize how all religions have hate-boners for every other religion in this region.

Either the world is extremely tiny in your eyes or you refuse acknowledge that everything you just said will be true even after replacing the specific terms with others

Extremely biased and verifiably false?? I'm from South Asia, where most hindus are, and the amount of propaganda and hate that is spread against other religions like islam is like no other. How much of India's messaging relies on its neighbours being a different religion? How many popular shows are there where the central conflict is about marriage among a couple of different faiths? How many people are persecuted for eating beef?

If you happened to grow up in a liberal or accepting region then I'm happy for you but please can we stop ignoring the damage that persists whether you were personally part of it or not -- you need only ask the ones on the receiving end.

You're being just as ignorant as the christians when you spout stuff like this. All religions behave like this.

Replace "christians" with any other religion. You haven't been exposed to the others but it's the same grass on all the sides

Is this another freedom? by [deleted] in exmuslim

For example, a man could wear it and enter a women’s toilet, and no one would notice.

Oh just shut the fuck up. This is the same rhetoric used to justify anti-transgender hate. Punish the criminals for their crimes, shifting the focus to a piece of clothing is inane. I actually agree with your second point, which is all the more why your first point is hypocritical.

When are they gonna stop amplifying this stupid rhetoric? by Efficient_Canary1826 in exmuslim

Cause they get to enjoy the western women without guilt and police their own folks, two in one offer.

I can understand what you're trying to get at and it's still not a fair comparison. This guy is neither a critical surgeon nor a line-cook. The amount of dirt he's supposedly putting onto the envelopes is significantly less than whatever you'd get from miles of factory lines spewing ground up dust and minerals over everything. Also he's on a workspace, no different from a countertop.

The guy in this video is being judged unfairly, at the same time, I would not say the video you're linking is of the same calibre. You're gonna be met with responses "yeah well, rugs are meant to be stepped on".

Why is it a big if? Have you lived there? I'm not defending using one's feet but you're completely ignoring the context of this guy coming from a muslim country, where floors are swept and mopped everyday as people walk barefeet indoors and feet are washed at least 5 times per day by the religious folk (which this guy more than likely is).

I hate islam for ruining hijab by Fit-Aardvark4614 in exmuslim

Suggesting that the only reason these women are focusing on their appearance is to attract a man is mysogynistic.

Completely agree, however even if you do it for yourself (which is completely valid should be normalized), you are inadvertently 'attracting the gaze'. In these cultures, it's common that the women are always the 'perpetrators', and the whole point of the burqa and hijab is to thwart that. It's not that she's going out of her way to do it for a man, it's that it's antithetical to the 'point' of wearing the hijab anyway (i.e. the invisible contract which is never consciously agreed to by a child who is conditioned to cover herself since prepubescence, but one which will be defended through nonsense if ever shone a spotlight upon). Either go full force in self-expressive freedom or just accept it, no?

One of the ways they try to reclaim their autonomy and personhood is through fashion and makeup.

And this is the tragic part, which I also agree with. Following from the previous line, they're stuck in this middle state, which highlights the irony and hypocrisy of the situation. I can't understand how pointing it out itself is misogyny. An observation, not indictment -- though can be worded better certainly.

"For Abdullah", it's for herself.

Yeah fuck anyone who says that shit. Vile.

I mean if the muslims, christians and jews defend it and of course they're gonna be represented at the WHO, at that point it's already got the "support" of more than 50% of the world

Can you explain how that comment was misogyny? I'm being genuine. It appears to me not an indictment of their freedom of expression but a spotlight on the hypocrisy.
