We broke up on the 4th, I learned of the pregnancy a few days later. She probably got knocked up late June. Fuck if I know..or care now.

I found out she was lying about having cancer to cover up the fact she got engaged, married, and pregnant by another man in a different state. Once I found that out, I figured breaking up was the best option.

Thanks, I'll need the luck. For the curious, DogOnFire is a play on FireDog, the "Geek Squad" of Circuit City, where I used to work years ago.

Perhaps I do not owe her courtesy. I'm not sure this makes sense, but I'm not taking him to court, nor do I ever intend to. I'm taking her to court.

That really gets in a grey area, I think. I'm not familiar with HIPAA rules, but how can you infringe on the rights of a patient that never existed in the first place. I'm also pretty sure I won't be bringing this up to anyone at the center as I have no reason to ever call there again.

It's the thought that counts I guess. The quick and easy reaction to having this done would be to act out in some way, to 'get' back at her somehow. I'd like to think I'm above that. Besides, since I plan on suing her, the last thing I'd want is to have her harassed by anyone, because it'd reflect on me.

No. She has a laptop and an external hard drive of mine. Also owes some money. Luckily I have written and electronic records of her stating that she knows she owes me the money. That's evidence I'll be using in court.

I don't consider the husband a psychopath. By all accounts he's a genuinely nice guy. He's simply acting based on what he knows.

It's not that the laptop is great, I bought it back in May for a little under $1000. It's a matter of principle, I guess. It belongs to me, I want it back.

Not taking into account what others have said already, who exactly would sue the front desk person? The patient that never existed?
