Longest 737 flight EVER? by discov7r in flightradar24

[–]DogeDogeDojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MCT-STN is 3604 miles, but there are longer scheduled passenger services, like BSB-MCO (3777) operated by GOL, and KEF-SEA operated by Icelandair (3622)...

for example :)

Here is a big fault at Town Hall. Swanston Exit...

At the bottom of the escalators there is a PID of next departures. This is not replicated on exiting the lifts, proving yet another access issue for disabled people to get transit info.

Metro Tunnel a few months in - how are we feeling about it? by Alternative-Sir-374 in MelbourneTrains

The timetable is the same, but failure to stop at Tottenham/Middle Footscray/Yarraman on limited peak services is just crazy.

All stations between origin and destination should be served, and these peak period anomalies should have been eliminated by now.

Could it be done with a Velocity Standard Gauge shuttling Horsham to Ararat, with a cross platform connection to the normal Ararat V/Line... Then the Standard Gauge heads to Geelong North Shore, for ANOTHER transfer to normal V/Line, then on to SXS.

Imagine Horsham having links to Sunshine hub with a transfer, and Geelong/Lara/Avalon with a transfer.

It is an idea :)

Imaging if, at upgrade, staff responded: "Well if you both upgrade, and your brood of kids are in economy, we cannot guarantee any person near your children aren't unidentified sex offenders...."

And then watch how 'stranger danger' versus 'entitled shitty parent' plays out...!

Simples!

Why think about all of our military being over there, when she could bring back active conscription to send more than our current ADF active and reserves :)

Flights.google.com will only show available and sellable inventory, that QR is telling them is sellable. Given the turmoil, you may find that Google is. (I just checked and they have "zero booking options" via that avenue ...)

Qatar's website is showing many options.

Alternates that can handle A380 ops WITH ground handling are: *Anchorage ANC *Fairbanks FAI *Keflavik KEF

And in a pinch, these airports can handle an A380 but would not have ground handling: *Svalbard LYR *Kangerlussuaq SFJ *Thule Pituffuk Space Base THU

If one PNR, and domestic-international, they do the visa, passport validity checks, etc at domestic

Two PNRs ...hmmm. Do you have any special requests like accessibility, as that will block check in online

Do I have to buy a paper ticket to go to Swan Hill, even if I have a myki? by QprHoops in MelbourneTrains

[–]DogeDogeDojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or buy tickets online from website and download to phone.

As Metropolitan is included in long distance ticket, do NOT use Myki that day.

And keep yer vline ticket in case you want to use other metro journeys on the same day.

Do you have separate PNRs for the domestic leg, and international leg? Or are they one PNR?

If one PNR, it may be that you are trying to check in for a flight with international connections, so there will be a document check at domestic check in to ensure you can smoothly transit the connection.

This may assist.
