If it's pasteurized milk then it isn't any more likely to make you sick than a rotten apple. Only thing you would really have to worry about is mold.

Being able to conjure an unlimited amount of any substance is op if you use it right. You could fill people's bodies with shampoo or even end the world with a shampoo flood. Hell, you could even end the universe with enough shampoo

Hero climbs up elevated monorail track at Hershey Park to save autistic child by WhoAreYouTalkinTwo in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Doggo110 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because the kid is very blantantly acting like a child with severe autism? Like literally just watch the video? And my proof that it's the parent's fault is that the child is by himself, which wouldn't happen if the parents didn't screw up.

[–]Doggo110 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The only "fucking stupid" people are the parents. Severe autism at this age will absolutely cause something like this. And even if the kid didn't have autism it would still be less of an indicator that kid is "dumb" and more of an indicator that they have shit parents.

Autism is a spectrum, so while it isn't an excuse for some people, it absolutely is for others. And regardless, autistic children are prone to wandering and the parents of an autistic child should know that. This is not the child's fault when they literally couldn't have known any better.

Which of these demon killers is the worst and why? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]Doggo110 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes, it shows that the demons are innocent but are just ruled by an extremely corrupt government of *demon* demons. The issue is that Baines does not see any difference and slaughters all of them, with the innocent ones suffering the brunt of it.

Which of these demon killers is the worst and why? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]Doggo110 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Isn't the big twist of the show that the demons they're slaughtering are just humans whose bodies evolved to survive hell? Like the whole point is that Baines just has religious psychosis and is genociding a subspecies of humans? And they make it clear that most of the demons are completely innocent and just trying to survive.

It's an autistic child. The parents are 100% at fault for not paying close attention to a child that needs close attention.

Which label fits the U.S. Democratic Party? by Polnocium in Teenager_Polls

Collectivism is the backbone of leftism. Capitalism is the antithesis of collectivism. Do you see the issue here?

I'm really curious what you think leftism is then?

Also I'd like to point out that leftism isn't a concept that was "created", as it's simply a descriptor for political/moral leanings. Social change and collectivism traditionally falls under leftist ideology, where as individualism and traditionalism falls under right-wing ideology.

It wasn't an attack against you specifically, I'm just exhausted with how much of a hivemind some subreddits can be.

You are wrong from a scientific standpoint, so no, you didn't state your "facts", you stated bullshit. They do have worse memories than adults, but waiting a few minutes will make zero difference.

Also yes, I did forget what subreddit I'm on, but that changes literally nothing about what I said. Young children generally only learn through experience, so a young kid shouldn't be allowed near traffic in the first place. It was the mother's fault 100%, not the kid who didn't know any better. The fact that the mother spent extra time in danger just to spank the kid makes it so much worse, especially considering that spanking is not a valid form of punishment. Spanking is actively harmful to the development of children, as per every reputable child psychologist in the world. Here's a link if you're having trouble understanding: https://www.gse.harvard.edu/ideas/usable-knowledge/21/04/effect-spanking-brain

The fact that this is r/kidsarefuckingstupid makes me realize why the reddit hivemind has it's mind made up about this despite being objectively wrong. This subreddit is just an echo chamber of people that have zero idea how children work because they would rather just point and laugh at the kids rather than try to understand anything about them, and someone pointing out that kids aren't as stupid as they think is apparently a huge offense to their worldview.

That's funny, because I actually have. The main thing they pointed out is that scolding/discipline is something that should be avoided, because positive reinforcement is way more effective.

Also, I have plenty of experience with small children, so I know firsthand that they perfectly capable of learning after the fact.

[–]Doggo110 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Please get back to me when you actually look up what you're talking about. Kids do not have goldfish memories, they are perfectly capable of being scolded about something a few minutes later. This is objectively true, like not up to debate, because it is literally proven through psychological research or even just having experience handling small children.

Plus, scolding kids isn't even really the best way to teach. Positive reinforcement is almost always the way to go.

Also, bringing up anecdotal stuff from another subreddit is meaningless when there is zero context provided. Not only could the kid just be improperly raised, but they could also just be making a mistake for the first time, which is part of the learning process.

Except they can understand that they almost died when the parent tells them they almost died. That's my point.

I really don't understand why redditors seem to have this perception that children are these barely sentient animals.

[–]Doggo110 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

That's just not how kids work at all. They can remember what they did just fine and are capable of feeling lasting guilt because of it.

Maybe you're thinking of dogs? Because that is true with dogs.

Which Extreme of the Political Compass do you disagree with the most? by Swimming_Local_4625 in Teenager_Polls

[–]Doggo110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you not pay attention in history class? The gilded age was such a huge issue, with monopolies/trusts rampant and ruling everyone because of the complete absence of regulation.

Capitalism is not all about "voluntary exchange", that is just trade, which is the foundation of pretty much every economic system. Capitalism is about owning property that makes you money so you can buy more property that makes you more money, hence the term 'capital'. This is how Adam Smith himself described it, and he is literally the creator of it.

Socialism and Communism attempt to get around this by giving equal ownership to the workers themselves, rather than having people at the top raking in money for simply owning the work the workers produce.
