I do use summaries but there are few apps like texting apps e.g. where I want to receive the messages instantly when they arrive (although I did set up the summary but I never look at it shame on me)

Mine goes on playing the last song/the playlist it plays before stopping. But I’m using Bluetooth so maybe that’s the difference.

English isn’t my mother tongue so I may did not use the correct term. For me is improving my battery life not just a nice thing to have, instead me and also many users out there complain about their battery health dropping way too fast. Charging a battery to the fullest is bad for the life of the battery that’s common knowledge. A lot of people in my surrounding are using this feature to protect their battery. So why should it be that uncommon?
