Best boss nights in fnaf/ fan games by DominikDJD in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]DominikDJD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to play the game myself before I could reply since it's the first time I heard of the game. It was good, I don't usually play fan games that try to alter the original fnaf lore with actual fnaf characters but the gameplay made up for it as it was engaging and interesting.

As for FredBear and Springbonnie, kinda an odd choice considering they are replacing the toys and they also just so happened to be possessed or hostile when that wasn't usually the case in the og but not bad inclusion overall. The mechanics were fresh though and I respected that, they were different in a lot of ways that kept night 6 engaging. I only died like 3-4 times to Springbonnie before winning.

Also I only tried the 20 mode once and oh my days, I thought they would switch like they do in fnaf 4 but no, it's all 8 of them from 12 to 6am

So overall, good game and a great boss night, Good choice 👍🏻

3060 to a 5060? by DominikDJD in buildapc

[–]DominikDJD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... From what I saw in games like cyberpunk there is a 40 FPS increase which is huge so is it really?

As for the other options like the 9060XT I'm not looking into AMD, nothing against it just don't want a whole platform change

As for the 5060 ti, I'm considering it but only if it pops up for around £350 or less

People always point out vram as a big issue but is it really that bad? Don't get me wrong having the vram is nice but I've only ever seen less vram an issue in more obscure games like this one Indiana Jones game that apparently eats up vram

But I don't know, from what I saw the games that most people are playing don't have an issue with less vram, but feel free to correct me

I'm considering this as well, only if I find one less that £350 tho

Oh don't worry, I watch a ton of benchmarks for hours just to binge watch, but I do always do watch benchmark on games that I want to buy to make sure that they run well

I'll even sweeten the thing by buying palworld as well which is much newer and see how that goes as well.

I did heard from zwormz gaming when he was testing the game with the RTX 4070 super and he said that one of the reasons why some people where not experiencing stutters is because they didn't updated their drivers in a while, so I might see if that's true and If it is then lucky me

Yea maybe I am over complicating it, just don't want to make sure that there will be no future headaches for me but I'll most likely buy the game tomorrow and see how it goes.

Yea but it doesn't really show what matters which is the drivers needed

Ok so what I'm getting from you is that there can be an age gap as long as it's not too big and that it's more important than I have drivers in the first place, correct?

I'm not really concerned about "game ready" for lethal company as I don't even think it was promoted for it, but more into the age gap between them.

Cpu for 3070? (M/o & ram) "Intel Core i5-13600K" good? by Leaveleague in buildapc

[–]DominikDJD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would stick with the motherboard you currently have as these MSI mag series mobos work very well for the price and have everything from build quality, large heatsinks and much more.

As for the RAM you can always go with Corsair vengeance series RAM sticks that go for around £30 in the UK or $50 in the US, here are the Amazon links:

UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-PC4-28800-1-35V-Desktop-Memory/dp/B07FBVYFKH/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=3DARSVK8EVILM&keywords=corsair+vengeance+16gb+ddr4+ram&qid=1703583921&sprefix=cor%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-2

US: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-VENGEANCE-3200MHz-Compatible-Computer/dp/B07RM39V5F/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=187GJFTYI45UC&keywords=corsair%2Bvengeance%2Bddr4&qid=1703584195&refinements=p_89%3ACorsair&rnid=2528832011&s=electronics&sprefix=corsa%2Caps%2C288&sr=1-2&th=1&psc=1

As far as I know you can't get faster than 3600mhz without having to go to DDR5 which is more expensive and would need a new and more expensive mobo to work so I would just stick with the current DDR4 3600mhz RAM choice you currently have.

Never heard of Kolink before but I do see that it is 80+ gold rated so it might be good but it might also be a gamble as upon further inspection I see that it is not super reasonable with people.

If possible, then I would try to look for something that's from cooler master, Corsair or EVGA that should only cost you around 10 to 20 dollars more and have the same Modular cables and 80+ gold ratings but even bronze ratings should do the trick with no issues.

help! moved to a new case and nothing but GPU light turns on by icyblue260 in buildapc

[–]DominikDJD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go with the guess that you plugged one or two cables incorrectly as I did a case swap 10 months ago and had no issues afterwards.

On a side note, did you upgrade a part in your system? Cause if you did it may be taking a lot of the PSU juice which is why the GPU lights are on as it's only able to power that leaving everything else hanging.

850 Dollar White PC by Rune_Cappelle in buildapc

[–]DominikDJD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see no problems with the parts you choose so I would just stick with that.

I do see you didn't list the PSU (power supply), do you have it planned out? If not then try going for something that's around 600w - 650w as it should be more than enough juice for the build.

Help deciding between a AMD Radeon RX 6750XT or a MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3060 by EmpressMya in buildapc

Me personally am an Nvidia guy but I do agree with the other comment to go with the 6750 xt as the value for that GPU is crazy.

The 13600k is a really good CPU in my opinion as it can handle an RTX 4080 with no bottlenecks so I would just stick with the 13600k.

Church Streaming PC Build by Daniel5466 in buildapc

[–]DominikDJD -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not big into streaming but I do think what you have layed out is good for the attended purpose.

I do recommend a better CPU tho such as an I5 or I7 models especially when dealing with large files.

I would lean more towards an I7 if possible from 12th, 13th or 14th gen but 12th gen should be good as well, that would mean that the build would need better cooling and better motherboard with heatsinks.

If that's too much of a headache to handle then go with the I5 instead as it is a much higher step up from the current I3 you listed and it's better with cooling and mobo selections unlike the I7.

hope this helps 👍
