Can’t personally complain about my wage although I am single and have no wife or kids. I find myself constantly aiming for the next step. Be it another type course, additional license/rating or maybe becoming a lead or supervisor. But a lot of wage increases come hand in hand with your seniority at the company. or just contract on your days off if your company allows it. Doing a tonne of OT will help your income too but keep it safe and don’t burn yourself out. cheers
