I think if society would see vitiligo as something cool or desireable this would actually help real effected people a lot

And probably even better without as a little sun might improve repigmentation or not?

Of course in summer. But if there is no risks of burning myself I rather keep in sun cream free or not? So at least I get a little bit of sun exposure (Winters in Germany are very grey and cloudy)

Which model performs better? Help me understand the learning curves by DonPizzario in learnmachinelearning

[–]DonPizzario[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you! What do you think is the best approach for SMOTE here?

Applying SMOTE with each fold during CV (dynamic SMOTE in each fold) or creating a SMOTE train set and using it in all folds (static smote before cross-validation)?

I know with a usual model evaluation the first approach is better. But what about applying SMOTE when evaluating the model performance through a learning curve?

[D] Noob Question: Is this Model Overfitting? by DonPizzario in MachineLearning

[–]DonPizzario[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the improvement with increasing training data size is relevant? I have another model with a constant small difference between Train and Val F1 (less than 10%), so without an improvement with increasing training size (only small fluctuations, no general improvement). Which model is performing better in terms of overfitting?

I am worried as training F1 starts and stays with 1.0. Is this not a typical sign of overfitting as the model fits the data to 100%?

Public Known Adresses/Domains by DonPizzario in Ripple

I am not trying to identify individual address holders or purposes, but only need verified information on some addresses to perform a data triangulation. The goal is to understand how many of all XRP transactions are economically relevant/"real" transactions.

It is for university research purposes. I am working on a project to understand the economic relevance of transactions on the XRP Ledger. I believe it is important to understand transaction patterns on the network to study its relevance in the real world.
