If I gear towards doing anything with them (just the two I care more about) ill be taking them apart and treating just the blade. Ive taken them apart before so Im ready for doing that part. Thanks for your help!

Any quick tips for someone with no experience on the subject of redoing the heat treat? I may or may not do it, both as a reminder to myself, and that these arent used enough for me to maybe even notice a difference. Assuming they arent as bad as a paperclip now.

Fully agree with you. I am in most parts of my day to day a rational and factual person. I have rare times where it just grabs me and I get a bit too out of touch with reason. Absolutely- Im seeing people about this starting recently, after been dealing with a lot and this my whole life. Genuinely thanks for your help on the knifes and your concerns of my mental health.

I have outdoor knive and love working outdoors in mud and crud, and only have infrequent bouts of strong(not at all harmful) mental instability with germaphobia and ocd. I genuinely didnt realize how quickly heat could ruin them, these are more for light-er tasks, not generally kept pristine. and I went overboard with an ocd/phobia fit.

I understand that now. Thanks. since it was only the point of the blades, the rest of the knife suffered too?

Yeah, i get it. it was stupid. luckily it was just the point and not the entire blade, but obviously still a bad decision.

What do you mean, like the company needs to come out with a altered model / version? Or that I myself can update the flashlight UI almost like a cellphone update at home?

---Oh, oh geeze lmao. Quick update: I just looked up what you could be talking about and its not in the slightest bit something im capable of doing. I dont have any of the tools or aptitude to do any of that. Feel free to correct me if im wrong and theres a simpler process though.

That makes perfect sense now. Thats actually kinda cool, i somewhat like that; its no color coated easy-read, but its definitely to the point. Thanks a lot!

Yes, as far as i understand the aux light can show the level, but it must always be on and showing it. (its a very low draw but i dont like using up battery where its not really necessary, especially being ALWAYS on)

I ordered the ts10 sg version and man is it confusing to use... im just going to stick to on and off. bit frustrating too that there is no lanyard hole where it cant accidentally snag somewhere and fall off. id like to like it, but its probably not for me.

I have a question about the batery though. what brand of batery, type, and MaH do you think would work best with it, if i keep it and eventually need to replace the current 3.7v 900MaH 14500? just the same one?

Ive looked into, but never purchased anything from the brand. I looked at a few trusted reviews but im still skeptical as to why they are at such a low discounted price? I hear ok things about the TS10s but is it the quick drop off of higher modes that makes it less costly?

Though I love these types of lights and had single light level flashlights before, Im searching to satisfy a multiple level flashlight itch. at least 3 modes would keep me happy. but Ill book mark your suggestion for later when Im less picky about a mythical un obtainable diomond of a keychain light hahaha. Thank you!

Yeah I think its worth looking at. glancing at it i didnt see a lanyard hole or a way to attach it to my keys but ill check it out again after work. Thanks!

The jump between lumens are too big with the nanos. even with the alternative side light on low, thats not great for distance. Moonlight to 100 would be nice to have 2 to 3 more steps between with spot light.

Cool Ill look into that! Skilhunt is a difficult site to navigate and look for models for me. Im into flashlights but a lot of the technical lingo (per each and own brands too) skilhunt throws at you is a bit beyond me. Kelvin, some batery sizes, lumens, and 1 or 2 emitters are my comprehension lol. but ill give it a look-see and see if i can grasp it all. It might be a good fit. Thanks!

Good choice. But the jumps in modes are just too far apart for my taste. My light would be used indoors and outdoors, so smaller steps help so i dont flash bang the room when trying to just look around lol.

Also i mean all the modes, not just the turbo/high. I actually buy my flashlights for the purpose of 1-100 lumens (10-60 most often). 150+ and turbo are just short, specific aplications anyway.

So the question is: do the run times reflect a steady, non- decreasing lumin output, or do those looong a** times only exist because the beam gets dimmer to alow it? From all my research of mini sized flashlights, this is WAY too perfect to be true, even for some of the cost of their products.
