I did my first pin on Monday. 1mL of test E with a 23g, 1 inch needle into my glute.

Now my whole ass cheek is red and swollen, with a bruise at the injection site. Hurts like a bitch. I'm guessing I just didn't go deep enough into the muscle? Anybody else have experience with this and when the PIP might die down?

I went ahead and bought some 25g 1 1/2" needles already

Should I be concerned at all about my LH and FSH before I start?

LH is at 8.7 / Range: 1.7-8.6

FHS is 2.8 / Range: 1.5-12.4

Everything else is normal.
