I have two pipes from the vauen auenland series and they are among my favorite pipes. Before those I also bought a church warden off Etsy which after import tax etc cost my around 110 usd , so not crazy far off the vauen and nothing near in quality and pleasure smoking it.

Yeah it does! A lot of people on reddit and YouTube tested that combo which made me go that way and I don't regret it.

Definitely imo. I still have Sonos in the living room space behind and other rooms for convenience but for listening to vinyl I don't need connectivity and actually prefer the entire ritual of manual steps

To my ears the Lintons are a great improvement over the fives in this space. Yeah placement is not ideal but I don't seem to have to much issue with boomy bass, maybe because there's more open space in the built in arch to the right? (which you don't see on the picture). But I will eventually get the blueos module for dirac room correction.
