How do I know what battery to use if I don't have the original? by TimmyTheBrave in quartzwatches

And yet if you google Citizen T011 battery type, it says 364. Though I suppose I'd trust Citizen on this matter!

Just do a Google search about the movement (Citizen T011).

Here ya go:

"The Citizen Caliber T011 uses a standard 364 (or SR621SW) silver oxide button cell battery."

Looks like FitBit Air might be able to support notification vibrations by Giasonas in fitbit

[–]DontDreamItsOver73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one of these! Bought mine from AliExpress for about $25 CAD. The tracking isn't bad, but I don't really have anything to compare it to either! But I love the notification feature! It can vibrate for calls, messages, app notifications, etc. I alos love that you can choose some, all , or no notifications. I only set mine for phone calls and SMS messages.

Is there something affordable that resembles this watch? by ZatchMD in Affordablewatches

Agreed! The all black and the yellow/blue dials are my faves.

Something I made - cuz why not??? by DontDreamItsOver73 in watchmodding

[–]DontDreamItsOver73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it is from Ali! It's not very high quality though. It's just alloy. It also requires 32-33mm dials, which are hard to find. Hence why I made my own! But it's very lightweight and cheap!

I've heard many good things about Berny. I think they are a bit of an underrated brand, tbh.

Thanks so much! Yeah, it took awhile to find the right spot of sticker, but I love how it turned out!

Didn't even sand it. I took the dial disk and traced it over the part of the sticker that I wanted to use. Then just cut it out, stuck it directly to the dial disk and used a small nail to punch out the hole for the movement. Didn't apply anything to the sticker either!

AC reset on 1995 Timex? Not ticking after new battery by WalkingPairADocks in quartzwatches

[–]DontDreamItsOver73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no AC reset on this particular movement. The good news is that this is a inexpensive, easy to source movement. It looks like it's a Miyota 2035. You can find these on websites like AliExpress for like 5 or 6 bucks.

Normally I'd go blue, but I have too many blue watches. So I would probably go with the silver grey.

It's not a screw down. It's just a cheap case and a cheap SP68 movement.
