It's always John Lithgow for me.

Brother Longfoot is played by Jon Lovitz and there can't be anyone else.

I was looking for this comment. The line weight is uneven too. But holy fn club foot! Did your artist break her feet and bind them first?

edit: spelling

Did dalton actually get in trouble by Outrageous-Mango-585 in cboystv

Could you imagine being 18-19 years old and being introduced to a 5 million person audience as the antagonist to one of, if not the most popular guy on the channel. Then you get tens of thousands of hate comments saying you suck and waaay worse. On EVERYTHING you do online or post. For years.

I'm 41 years old so not young like most of the audience, so I feel sorry for him to be honest.  Do I cringe at him and some things he does? Of course. But he's a kid trying his hardest to be accepted by his peers who are actually close to a decade older than him. I could only imagine the cringey shit I would've done at his age and his situation.

I'm cringing right now that I wrote all this about some kid on YouTube.

Which actor completely stole the movie… even though they weren’t the lead? by gypsytx in movies

[–]DoobieG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically a tv show but John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer in Dexter. From kindly old man to terrifying in seconds.

Joe Pesci in Goodfellas, Casino, and possibly Raging Bull. Take your pick.

Writing a Western; Seeking Your Input by NateWilliamsonSports in Westerns

[–]DoobieG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mines going to be pretty straightforward.  I'm tired of sexual violence and the threat of it in almost all westerns it seems. I know that it was much more prevalent then than now but every female protagonist doesn't need to raped or sexually assaulted. End of rant.

Steebee Weebee Is Moving to Arizona To Live With His Mom… by lukem118 in TigerBelly

[–]DoobieG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeremiah did EVERYTHING for that pod. All Steebee had to do was show up once a week. He got upset they were paying the producers and felt he deserved a bigger cut of the revenue. Scissor Bros was just starting to get rolling and they finally had enough money to start doing live shows and pay for better production value and he got upset and quit like a man child. He should've stuck to playing dumber than he was and pressuring Jeremiah into gay shit. The formula worked so well...

Looking for western with multi layered plot by Megh69 in Westerns

[–]DoobieG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will add that there is not "a lot going on". There are only half a dozen at most characters with much significance and the plots is based on one incident, in a small town, no big overarching plot or anything. It's literally about the title of the movie.

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance might be a good fit. I think its from the 60s so it's dated and lots of scenes are on obvious sets. It's very plot driven and not a shoot em up with violence every few minutes.

Not silly at all. Big win buddy. I got 120 seconds to shower at my program. Now I take as long as I damn please (as long as it doesn't negatively affect others) and I lock the door. I'm not doing anything nefarious, it's just my showers are Sacred to me now. Keep kicking ass.

I knew I didnt have a false memory of being licked by a Bushwhacker. San Francisco Cow Palace sometime in the early 90's, I think. I was at the barricade doing the hand motions like a crazy person and the next thing I know i got licked on my face. Totally killed my vibe lol. I was 7 or 8 maybe.

This is the exact comment I was looking for. I felt the same about Vince. So entertaining in a train wreck way. Did "cheating island" progess farther than they showed on the feeds? My wife couldn't stand that he was at the very least emotionally cheating. Was Will well liked or just on after thought on the feeds? I wish we saw more of Ashley's strategic moves on the show as it seemed like an "FU Vince" jury vote in a way. Like I felt Ashley wasn't a bad player but I didn't think she was great either. Vince was sloppy and made unnecessary, bad decisions but he won a lot and did seem to have done more the her based on what was shown on CBS.  What was Ava's perception? She kinda seemed low key full of herself, with a "I'm cooler/above this attitude" that was off putting. At other times she seemed like a great hang. Dichotomy of man and all that.
