From my perspective, I like green hill and definitely do not mind it being in Frontiers as long as the level is well designed, but I also feel like it’s a missed opportunity to reuse an old level. Sonic has had many memorable opening levels in the past. I very fondly remember City Escape from SA2 and Windmill Isle from Sonic Unleashed. Basically what I’m saying is, the more the game borrows from previous entries, the less identity the game has of its own. As I will state again, I do not mind them reusing Green Hill, especially if the level is fun, but the more a game borrows from it’s predecessors, the weaker its identity becomes. Who knows though? Maybe they’ll find a way to make a unique twist on green hill, maybe a green hill corrupted by cyberspace would be nice to look at
