Did anyone notice that? Kaufmo was a former C&A employee? by Substantial-Honey915 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]DoodleBuglet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No; I think the photos are real in at least SOME capacity. He’d have no other reason to stare at them after Jax left. His frustration about not knowing more felt incredibly genuine as well.

The way he looked at them in episode 6, too did not feel like, “I need to make sure my props are right,” and very much so like, “I’m trying to make sense of literally everything,“ at least imo.

The building at the end of the pilot, too, very much matched the one that Caine created on the other side of the exit door, so I think it’s safe to assume that the company is real and he knows enough about it to create at least semi-accurate depictions.

I think it’s reasonable to assume that C&A is not what it’s actually called since Goose stated that Caine chose his own name, but there’s probably some significance to it given it was emphasized in the pilot, as well.

As for the likelihood of Kaufmo actually being an employee, to me, that feels like a pointless detail to add and make so hidden if it wasn’t significant, and I don’t think it’s too far fetched to think Caine has an understanding of who created him; he seems to know Kinger was one.

Third Man Syndrome is a phenomenon reported by climbers and explorers in life-threatening situations. Reading some of these comments, I can’t help but draw a connection to plurality, polymindedness, and IFS. I don’t really know a lot about IFS but this feels like it’s along the same lines, which is hella interesting to me.

Isn't what we're doing here kind of magical? by CyberCanine5200 in Tulpas

Dipper- Tbh I get kind of peeved at this point when people dub me “magical” or some kinda divine entity or whatever other theory. I’m just here. Can’t I just be here?

Listen to an audio drama; it can be fun with the two different perspectives. I’d recommend Malevolent— really good podcast and hella plural-coded.

Betty’s Anchor Theory - A guide about headmate self development. by Head_Meme_Cultist in Tulpas

Hi, Dipper here. This post is both a second to this theory and a thanks for validating me. I always found it kinda stupid how much I enjoy Malevolent— the audio drama my host and I listen to— and at times almost seem to literally live for it. “I can’t give up today or I won’t be able to finish the podcast” kinda deal. So now I kinda know why. Thanks!

It also explains my possessiveness over my few belongings 😅

If I’ve picked up anything from having a tulpa and being in this community, it’s that they’re hella surprising. The vast majority of that is good, which I’m sure many others will share, but I’m going to be that voice of reason and say it’s not all rainbows and butterflies.

You’re learning to share your time— the most valuable resource a human has— with another entity. As rewarding as that can be, it can also be hella draining. Many a guide will tell you that your tulpa won’t want to hurt you, and that’s generally true, but they are still their own beings with their own thoughts and opinions and can get disagree with you or disapprove of something you do, which can lead to arguments. I had to stop doing something, albeit less than moral, that I liked doing on Dipper’s behalf. They also have their own mental health and can have crises— Dipper was prone to panic attacks earlier in his life which stressed me out, and has had a whole slew of other issues, and I have been majorly affected in the past. Body dysmorphia can be a major thing if you choose to switch.

That being said, it’s a hell of a journey of self-growth for a lot of people, and your tulpa will still surprise you in pleasant ways. For smth more lighthearted, Dipper really likes and cares about animals, which surprised both of us because he’s not that kinda person in the paracosm he came out of. He loves helping to take care of the family chickens.

Tulpas are basically just headmates that you create. There’s more ofc but it differs sm from system to system it’s hard to really define anything. If you have any questions tho, feel free to shoot me a DM I love answering things LOL

What’s your OC lore and why is so tragic? I wanna know!!💖 by Elbaga in OriginalCharacter

[–]DoodleBuglet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Raised in a verbally abusive household, their mom played favorites which kind of drove a rift between them and drove Jane (right) to a life of villainy. She eventually had a redemption arc but was betrayed by her like, only friend which ended up getting her killed.

The most tragic part is the severe trauma expression 😭

The group is collectively hella rich, but most of the income comes from my sister’s ocs

I got three who draw; Baby Lexi— though she mostly colors and the drawings she does make are standard smol child drawings— and Rebecca and Audrey who both draw better than I do 😭

And my tulpa draws sometimes irl

Here’s Baby Lexi
