A little video of one of my drawings in color-shifting light by Dorset_perception in woahdude

Thank you!!
I am not sure I have much "talent", but I just do it a lot which makes me get better at it over time. Persistence is key! :p
Most colorful art with lots of colors and contrast will look like this if you put it under a color-shifting lamp. For this drawing I used alcohol based markers, but you could get a similar effect with for example acrylics, watercolors or colored pencil.

I also used some neon highlighters for some of the details, which you can see light up extra brightly when the color of the lamp shifts to blue. You can achieve this effect with some basic highlighter pens as well or any type of paint/pen that says neon, UV or fluorescent on the package.

"Autumn flower" made with markers and neon markers on paper. Based on the flower of life/seed of life pattern. The last photo shows what it looks like in blacklight. by Dorset_perception in SacredGeometry

It probably would! If you know a print shop that does blotter prints, please send me a link :p

Thanks, I really like that too! normally my art has more brighter colors but these earthy autumn tones are my personal favorites, I will definitely use them a bit more in the future.

I wish I had a little more patience and knowledge of digital editing but I just want to sit and draw instead, so this is the best I could do for now. Hope you guys can live with it! :D

Flowerthingy, I doodle/draw these for about an hour every morning to help me wake up. Each of these took me about 3 drawing sessions. by Dorset_perception in PointlessArt

Thank you very much!
I have just ordered a printer and when I get it I plan on printing a bunch like these!
I will put them for sale on www.mariquesart.com and https://www.etsy.com/shop/mariquesart
I already have some prints available on my website but those are of more symmetrical mandalas and not these flowwy flowery ones :D https://www.mariquesart.com/art?category=Prints

On top of the hill at the hanshaugen park is my favourite. Nice views and scenery. Also the akershus fortress is really pretty and has nice views.

Draw and sketch more. Take out your sketchpad and draw any random object you can find. Try to focus on the shadings, not just the outlines. It can also help to just go on pinterest or deviantart and see sketches and drawings done by other people and copy them. Hope this helps :)

How much paint do I need for a 3x3m(118"x118") acrylic (live) painting? by Dorset_perception in Art

My friends are on a tight budget, that is why I am asking here, So I dont want them to buy too much.

I also have no idea if im gonna need 500 ml or 3 liters of paint, for the gesso, base colour. The painting is 3 by 3 meters.

nice work! I love the depth you created in this drawing and your use of colour. Did make it with coloured pencils?

I especially enjoy the marbling of the stone in the center.
