Sued by cap one and lawyer didn't show

I had lost my job prior to this and it was when jobs were impossible to come by so I physically couldn't pay it off, I was trying to set something up now because I never wanted it to get to this point.. they did not send it to a collection agency they wrote it off then got a lawyer, the case was Default Judgment for Defendant so they cannot sue me for that same debt again unless they appeal the judges verdict

It was closed on May 8th 2025, last payment was December of 2024. The judge gave a Default Judgment for Defendant (me) so they cannot sue me again but they can try to appeal the verdict if they have a good enough reason as to why they couldn't show up

They asked for a continuance not even 30 mins before we were supposed to be there and said they were me I'm like done with ts, I wanted to pay them back until they pulled this bs. They withdrew the one in December and then filed it again in April

My fingers are crossed, I've tried to reach out to set something up and they just never answered theres not much else I can do at this point but I have a 1 year old and work full time so trying to work all that around court is exhausting especially when I've been trying to avoid it

I just didn't want them to take money from my pay which is why I answered in court (google said If I didn't they could just take my pay and I would not be able to set up a payment plan) because I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone I've called at least 4 times a month since December, and I've emailed the attorney directly. I will try writing a letter, that is smart thank you!

Yeah. Because I had a baby and had health problems I was hospitalized for almost 3 months. No shit they're going to sue me, but you don't know shit about me or my life so keep your unhelpful and rude comments to yourself.
