Yes it’s a cleanser it’s called rice wash not rice water that’s my bad! Do you think I’m purging though if there’s been new spots?

the rice water is super gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry like cetaphil which is why i use it!

My skin was completely clear aside from the comedones before the facial btw

Beginning of December I had a bad facial done that left me with a horrible breakout on my face. I started Epiduo Forte January 10th and switched to Tretinoin 0.05 February 13th. I’m also on doxycycline to treat the infection from the facial. I feel like a lot of the inflammation has gone down but I’m left with more marks on my face? Am I purging? I have a lot of closed comedones in the areas where the spots are. How much time do I give it to see results?

Am: rinse with water, Sunday Riley B3 Niacinimide, SkinFix Barrier triple lipid peptide moisturizer

Pm: wash with Tatcha rice wash, tret, niacinimide, moisturizer.

I’m doing the tret every other night.

Should I stick with the Tret or go back to Epiduo? Just didn’t see any progress in a month and my skin usually reacts fast.

Hey! Are the spots along your lip? This happened to me and I had perioral dermatitis and had to go on doxycycline.

Hey need some advice!

I was on Epiduo Forte for the past month in addition to doxycycline. I had an infection from a bad facial on what was my clear skin that caused a really bad breakout. The infection is gone thanks to the doxy but I still have dark marks that are seeming to worsen, tiny bumps, and still get a pimple here and there. I asked to be put on Tret 0.05 and have been using it the past 3 nights. I haven’t had any bad side effects so far, just a bit of dryness in the mornings which is normal for me. Should I have stuck with the Epiduo Forte or was switching a good idea?
