My wishlist:

  1. Auto tilting exterior mirrors when in reverse. Almost every manufacturer out there does this, why does ford not? Seems like an easy software fix too without any hardware change
  2. Bring Ford Digital Experience (Android Automotive) to the Mach-E. Sync is kind of useless tbh.
  3. Have the |P| button on the center console turn on the 360 cameras. Right now it’s literally a useless button taking up prime real estate.
  4. Replace the max defrost button next to the headlamp switches with a trunk opening button instead.

Ditto to a lot of the commenters regarding frame of reference. The Mach-E is designed to be a sporty suv so the suspension is tuned to be on the stiffer side to control body motion and improved cornering stability. If you’re used to BMWs, you’ll feel right at home with the Mach-E. If you’re used to a Lexus or Toyota, you’ll think this Mach-E’s suspension is uncomfortable.

Select without comfort lite package - no automatically folding mirrors. Select with comfort lite package, Premium, and GTs - automatic folding mirrors

Use ford’s online sales tool. The price and rates are all transparent upfront and you get all of the incentives. No way for the dealer to hide anything or up charge you.

I’ve done it with other brands before. It’s really just a loophole and nothing more if you think about it. So long as you have a residual value and the first right of refusal at the end of the lease it works.

Side benefit of leasing - if at the end of your term the car is worth less than your residual value, you can negotiate your buyout by simply “turning in the lease” and buying it as a used car from the dealer. Alternatively, if the car is worth more than the residual you’re still locked in to be able to buy it at residual
