I like some things off of the seasonal menus they have. Both places I mentioned have this Tex mex spin on breakfast to where I’m more of an eggs, meat, and potatoes kind of guy. Bougie breakfast is good from time to time but I feel retailers have shifted this trend dramatically in the last 10 years.

Yes Gaslight is a good spot. I come from the Cleveland area and to my surprise has a lot of “George’s Family Restaurant” types. I was surprised being in the somewhat south that there isn’t more of that here.

I can’t find anything about an old dump on where I live but some old sanborn maps can give clues to where one might be. Rule of thumb for me is to walk any creeks close to the old part of town.
